The extensive adjustments will see boosted frequencies across several destinations, notable aircraft changes across others, and highly anticipated service resumptions.
As part of a review of travel demand and capacity needs, flag carrier Singapore Airlines is making the adjustments.

Asia
South-East
Over in a more familiar region, Singapore Airlines will add a fifth daily service between Singapore and Bangkok, operating as SQ 706 and SQ 705 from October 1st. The service will utilize the widebody Airbus A350-900s, and SQ 706 will depart from Singapore at 07:10 before arriving in Bangkok at 08:35. SQ 705 will then take off from Bangkok at 09:40 before arriving home at 13:05.

A change of aircraft
It's official, Singapore Airlines is withdrawing the Airbus A380s from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, as from May 15th next year, the airline's daily Singapore-Frankfurt-New York service will be operated using the Boeing 777-300ER instead. This means that passengers flying on SQ 26 and SQ 25 from that date onwards will miss out on the superjumbo experience, which is quite a bummer.
