IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its first voco hotel in Germany; voco Dusseldorf Seestern, in partnership with investor group, Hotelite Management.

Located in the Lörick district of the city, voco Dusseldorf Seestern is a great premium option for those visiting Dusseldorf for business or leisure. The hotel is within walking to distance to the banks of the Rhine river and a short drive from the airport and the city's main shopping and business districts.

As one of IHG’s newest brands, voco hotels has been designed to stand out of the crowd by combining the reassurance of a big brand with the informality and charm of a boutique hotel. The name, voco, means ‘to invite’ and ‘call together’ originating from Latin, representing the brand’s thoughtful and playful nature, and ability to offer meaningful connection.

With 160 rooms, voco Dusseldorf Seestern, embodies the brand’s design ethos by creating a warm and inviting space with playful and bold decorative touches throughout. The use of bright, warm pops of yellow give voco its distinct identity. All the rooms include signature voco touches, such as high-quality bedding made from 100% recycled materials and eco-friendly large size bathroom amenities from Antipodes, an award-winning plant - based organic skincare company. Guests will also have access to a fully equipped onsite fitness area including a sauna and steam room, perfect for those looking for a bit of me time.

All guests at voco hotels are greeted with a locally inspired welcome treat on arrival. At voco Dusseldorf Seestern guests will enjoy a Heidesand, a traditional German shortbread cookie, freshly made at a local bakery.
