Based on early damage assessments the following hotels will remain closed through Dec. 31, 2005:

Associates and guests staying at these hotels were evacuated and are safe and accounted for in temporary shelters located further inland. We continue to assess conditions in the area and are currently working to address the specific needs of our guests and associates.

Marriott has established a toll-free line for friends and families to call for information about guests and associates who may have been impacted by the hurricane in Cancun.  That number is (866) 211-4610. (Outside the U.S. and Canada, the direct dial number is 402-390-3265.) 

Cancellation fees have been waived for guests with existing reservations at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, and Casa Magna Marriott Cancun Resort through December 31, 2005.
