For our next WiT Virtual, we look beyond travel to learn from someone whose success was built out of embracing range and resiilence in the field of sport.
The world continues in lockdown, with people self-isolating at home, streets empty bar the few that venture out for essential supplies, their identities anonymised behind surgical and N95 masks. It is as though the world is on pause, yet beneath the surface, engines of change are whirring as we prepare for the next chapter in travel and beyond.
The current crisis is new territory for many of us – professionally and personally. It is testing our resilience and resolve in ways it hasn't been stretched before. It is also daring us to experiment and get creative, finding new and broader ways to grow, connect with others, and achieve new things with less, or at least different, resources than we're used to.
For some of us, that means rapidly adapting to new responsibiites at work. For others, it is seeking out new jobs, perhaps in fields unexplored. Remote work is the new reality. Job roles are changing quickly. Products are being out-innovated. We have embraced a broader range of methods, skills and mindsets to adapt.
For our next WiT Virtual, we look beyond travel to learn from someone whose success was built out of embracing range and resiilence in the field of sport. Chloe Dalton, a 2016 Olympic gold medallist, will share why range and resilience have been fundamental in her success and why she believes these two qualities will get us all through the biggest challenge we have faced in recent history
