Park Hotel Group expands footprint in South Korea

Park Hotel Group announced the opening of Park Hotel Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, heralding the Group’s debut in South Korea, the new-build hotel located within Yeongdeungpo district, is owned by Seoul-based K2 Group.

Prime location near Yeouido

Nestled in Yeongdeungpo district, just a 10-minute drive away from Yeouido financial hub, the
14-storey hotel boasts 140 rooms and family studios excellent for both leisure and business travellers. Guests can easily explore numerous landmarks and attractions including IFC Shopping Mall, historical National Assembly Building and 63 Square, one of Korea’s tallest skyscrapers, which features an art gallery, an aquarium, a performance hall, a wax museum and an observatory with panoramic views of Seoul.

Right next to the hotel is Seonyudo Station, a train stop within Seoul Subway network, that provides guests hassle-free access to popular venues such as Times Square, Hongdae and Gangnam Underground Shopping Centre. Within walking distance from the hotel are shopping, leisure and dining districts including Seonyudo Park and popular burger joint, CHAN by Hikoco. The upscale hotel is 50 minutes’ and 25 minutes’ drive from Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport respectively.

Contemporary rooms, dining and facilities

Park Hotel Yeongdeungpo, Seoul offers five room categories to cater to different travellers: Superior Room, Superior Room with Balcony, Deluxe Room, Deluxe Room with Balcony and Premier Family Studio. The rooms and studios have abundant natural daylight from their floor-to-ceiling windows or balconies overlooking panoramic views of the city skyline or the nearby Hangang River. The spaces are stylishly furnished in wood finishing and warm hues and are equipped with smart technologies in the form of an intuitive touchpad so that guests can request for assistance or control in-room lighting and temperatures with ease. Travellers who prefer a bigger space will appreciate the Premier Family Studio that comes with two bathrooms and a kitchenette.

In addition to 140 guest rooms, the hotel features a 24-hour fitness room, a business centre, a meeting room and a banquet hall. Guests are treated to culinary delights at the Hotel’s three distinct food and beverage concepts. K+reole, the all-day dining buffet restaurant serves a generous spread of Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Italian cuisine using choice local and seasonal produce. Isle 360°, a Korean-styled gastro bar perched on the top of the hotel with indoor and al fresco seating offers mesmerising 360-degree view of Seoul. Mon ChouChou, the famous Japanese brand that has several shops in Seoul, has opened its café at the ground floor to provide guests the place to socialise over its popular Dojima roll cakes and Royal Tea.
