Airbnb for Work sees nearly 250 percent growth in Germany
Tuesday, 18th December 2018

Airbnb for Work brings the best of Airbnb to the professional world to help foster a sense of belonging, even at work: Whether that’s Homes on Airbnb for accommodation or offsite meetings, or Airbnb Experiences for team building, we’re working with professionals and companies around the world to help them attract, retain and motivate talent.

In Germany, industry-leader Europcar turned to Airbnb for Work to add to the many projects they are undertaking to meet the demands of the modern workforce.

At Europcar, we encourage our teams to spend time together – outside of the office. This gives them a better opportunity to collaborate and connect on a different level. Airbnb for Work offers Europcar a whole new way to host offsite meetings. We recently booked accommodations for our leadership offsites and experienced an unparalleled way of working and connecting in a more informal environment. We’re already planning our next offsite with Airbnb and looking forward to a participating in their new team-building Experiences. - Stefan Vorndran, Managing Director of Europcar Germany

As an industry leader, Europcar is setting an example for companies in Germany and across Europe. So much so that we’ve seen the numbers of German companies that have had employees sign up for and book accommodations with Airbnb for Work reach more than 40,000 in 2018.* That’s 250 percent growth in the last year alone.

We’re working with some of the leading global companies to help them offer their employees more flexible ways to work. Much of our work in these spaces comes as a result of feedback from our customers, like Europcar, who are looking to improve the ways their teams collaborate, create, and grow. - Matthew Ziskie, Airbnb for Work Lead, North America and EMEA
