Another record year for tourism as London’s hotel growth is predicted to outpace the rest of Europe.

London is set to add more than 11,000 new hotel rooms by 2020. From the expansion of the budget sector to new openings in the upscale segment, meeting and event planners can benefit from a city that continues to evolve.

The London Hotel Monitor Report 2018, published by JLL and London & Partners highlights:

  • 140,000 rooms in the capital at July 2018, offering visitors a huge and varied choice of accommodation.
  • A new record for overnight visitors – 31.9m in 2017. Visits from the US, London's largest inbound market increased by 13%.
  • A 111% increase in Chinese visitors between 2012 and 2017, with further growth predicted.
