Hong Kong is set to launch the first high speed rail network connecting the Hong Kong to mainland China on September 23rd 2018.
The "Vibrant Express" will be the first bullet train to operate in Hong Kong traveling at 200km/h on the Hong Kong side and up to 350km/h on the mainland side cutting down the journey time between West Kowloon and Guangzhou South from 2 hours to 48 minutes.
The train will operate between West Kowloon and Shenzhen/Hong Kong boundary, where it connects to the massive high speed rail network in Mainland China connecting Hong Kong directly to 44 stations in the Mainland including Beijing and Shanghai.
