Meliá International is expanding its Thailand portfolio

Slated for 2021, the group will enter into the stunning karst island with an exclusive luxury resort on the idealic Mai Khao beach.

Meliá Hotels International announced the addition of Meliá Phuket Mai Khao, expanding its Thailand portfolio into the country’s largest island and world renowned destination, Phuket. Meliá Phuket Mai Khao will be the group’s fifth property in Thailand, continuing their dedication in providing exceptional hospitality with a Spanish touch to this thriving market.

Due to open in 2021, the new Meliá Phuket Mai Khao is owned by Phuket Villa Group, Thailand’s leading residential property development company, and the largest real estate development company in the famous resort island of Phuket. The new addition will reinforce the forthcoming position of Meliá Hotels International in the country.

Ideally situated along the clear waters of the sun-drenched beach known for the tropical reef clusters just offshore, Meliá Phuket Mai Khao lies in the tranquil north of Phuket. Overlooking the picturesque pure-white sand beach and torquise Andaman sea, the property owns a prime location that is within close proximity of Phuket International Airport, the third busiest airport in Thailand. In addition, iconic attractions including Sirinat National Park, Royal Phuket Marina and Lahm Him Pier can be easily accessed, allowing the travellers to indulge in nature and siteseeing.
