Langham Hospitality Group has partnered with eCornell to provide online training for corporate and hotel executives through the Advanced Programme for Executives (APEX), the company's pilot global talent development programme launched this year.
"Adding eCornell to our APEX programme will definitely enhance the capabilities of our high-potential executives to handle future challenges and prepare them for reaching new heights in their careers," said
Sharon Cheng, VP - Human Resources, Langham Hospitality Group.
"We are delighted to build our own Langham programme on eCornell's platform to engage our executives in their learning and stimulate innovative ideas and discussions on our business agenda. This customized Langham programme demonstrates our commitment to people development and we look forward to creating impactful learning experiences for our executives."
"We're very pleased to be working with Langham, and especially excited for the opportunity to deliver a service that works within their established talent development framework," said
Tom Abogabal, VP of Global Sales, eCornell.
"Langham's impressive roster of executives and property managers are sure to elevate the level of discussion in our online forums, as well as the quality of the global community of learners. That "global community" and access to it, is a major reason why Langham and our global roster of clients work with eCornell. Langham knows that engagement is key, so we're eager to deliver an experience that encourages all participants to take on a results-driven, executive mindset."
eCornell's unique approach to e-learning combines the most effective elements of a world-class, Ivy League classroom with the flexibility of an online learning environment. eCornell courses—self-paced and 100 percent online—are "instructor-facilitated" to help guide a cohort of 20 to 30 participants through challenging, real-world exercises with practical on-the-job application. Classes enable learners to be immersed in learning that also fosters collaboration, interaction and networking.
