After three long years without face-to-face communication, the show industry is going back to live events.

The format we all missed so much is making a comeback – with caution and lessons learned. The ITB brand family spearheads this trend across the world.

The travel industry is resurging after the unprecedented challenges of COVID – and the need for new partnerships and idea exchange is stronger than ever. From Europe to Asia, the ITB brand family is offering multiple vantage points for businesses to come together in 2023.

First off, the travel industry flagship, ITB Berlin, sets sail for 7-9 March to welcome its guests at Messe Berlin for the first time again since the beginning of the pandemic. Adopting ‘Open for Change’ as its motto, the show partners with this year’s official host country, Georgia, to offer a spectacular display of hospitality. All eyes on Berlin!

Keeping a brisk pace, ITB India follows on 26-28 April in Mumbai. The major travel trade show for India and South Asia markets will welcome over 8.000 visitors at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. ITB India will be co-located with MICE Show India and Travel Tech India. This is the first time ITB India will be held as an on-site event, so the excitement is overwhelming.

Autumn is looking to become another hotspot for the global travel industry. ITB China is scheduled to make its comeback as a live event in Shanghai, on 12-14 September. As the government of China eases COVID-related travel restrictions, both in- and outbound travel segments are expected to show strong signs of recovery in this prominent market throughout the year. ITB China will let its guests share their first successes and outline trends for the market’s future.

Rounding up the productive year, ITB Asia will greet its visitors at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands on 25-27 October. The show already came back to the in-person format in 2022, so this year will see an even stronger attendance as the markets revitalize.

The busy 2023 schedule goes far beyond the main ITB brand family events. Stay tuned for trade vertical shows, country-focused buyer conferences, and extensive networking opportunities to keep up with the fast pace of the travel industry.
