Paul Pusateri has been named Chief Operating Officer for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. He was most recently with the Palms Las Vegas as President. Pusateri is the former Senior Vice President Operations at the Venetian & the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino and Chief Operations Officer for Turnberry Associates.                 

Ben Trodd returns to Southern California as the new General Manager of the Beverly Wilshire. He had previously served as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills before moving to his most recent post as opening General Manager of the Four Seasons Seattle. He had served in sales and marketing positions for the Four Seasons London and the Four Seasons Dublin.

Ilse Harley has been promoted to the post of General Manager and heading over to the Four Seasons Seattle, taking over from Ben Trodd. She was most recently serving as Resort Manager for the Four Seasons Hualalai. Harley is the former Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Atlanta, Four Seasons New York and the Four Seasons Maui.

Paul Leclerc has returned to the Loews Santa Monica Beach to take over as Managing Director, replacing Bill Doak who joined the CIM Group in July. Leclerc had previously served the resort as Executive Assistant Manager from 2000 – 2003 before moving into his most current role as General Manager of the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando.

Host Hotels & Resorts has promoted Tim Marvin to Managing Director, Americas, based in Bethesda. Marvin joined the company last year as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions.

Rogerio Miranda de Souza has taken over from Tim Marvin as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions Brazil, based in Rio de Janeiro for Host Hotels & Resorts. He was most recently with the Brazil Hospitality Group.

Joseph Klein has been named General Manager of the Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal. He is the former General Manager of the Deerhurst Resort.

Michael Hatzfeld has been appointed General Manager of Il Lugano in Ft. Lauderdale. He is the former General Manager of the St. Regis Aspen Resort & Residences, the St. Regis Fort Lauderdale and the St. Regis Deer Crest.

The Omni Chicago has named Joe Pinto General Manager. He is the former Vice President of Oakbrook Hotels & Resorts and General Manager of Pheasant Run.

Colin Perry has been named General Manager of the Delta Whistler Village Suites. He is the former Director of Operations of the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis and Acting Hotel Manager of the Delta Vancouver Airport.

Sofia Vandaele has moved to the London New York as General Manager. She was most recently in the same post for the W Downtown New York. Vandaele is the former General Manager of the former W New York The Court and Tuscany.

Frank Holtslag has been appointed General Manager at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah. He is the former General Manager of the Sagamore, the Art Hotel in Miami.

Dominique Marty has joined Remington Hotels as General Manager of the Boston Hilton Back Bay, overseeing the transition from Hilton managed to Remington. He was most recently the General Manager of the Millennium Bostonian.
 
John Wagner has been named Area Managing Director and General Manager for Grand Cayman's Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa. He is the former General Manager of the Renaissance Denver.

George McGann has been appointed Vice President, Managing Director and General Manager of the Wigwam. He was previously the Vice President, Managing Director, for the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center.

Bob Milne has been appointed to the newly-created role of President, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America based in Parsippany. He is the former owner of the Resort Company.

Todd Felsen has been named General Manager of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. He was most recently the Managing Director for the Claremont Hotel Club & Spa.

Mark Lyttleton-Frances has been named General Manager for the BodyHoliday on St. Lucia. He was most recently a Regional General Manager with MacDonald Hotels and Resorts in the UK.  He is the former Resort Director for the De Vere Belton Woods Hotel & Country Club.

Douglas Hustad has been named Managing Director of Turnberry Isle. For the past seven years, he was Vice President/General Manager of the Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

Ken Stone has been named General Manager of Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa in Colorado. Stone most recently held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. He previously was the Senior Vice President for Telluride Ski & Golf Resort and is the former Vice President of the Durango Ski Corporation.

Didier Bosc has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Accor North America. He joined Accor in 1985 and was most recently serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of Accor North America.

David Friederich has been appointed General Manager of the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando. He was most recently with Auberge Resorts as Managing Director for Rancho Valencia and La Valencia.

The Magdalena Grand Beach Resort, set to open in November in Tobago, has appointed Vince Angelo General Manager. For the past four years, he had been with the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort as Hotel Manager.

Mona Beeson has been appointed General Manager of the Sands at Grace Bay on Turks & Caicos. She was most recently the Resident Manager for the resort's sister-property, the Regent Palms Resort.

Strategic Hotels & Resorts has promoted Richard Moreau to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He previously was Executive Vice President – Asset Management, for the company.

George Munz has moved to the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay as General Manager. A long-time Ritz-Carlton man, Munz had previously served as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix and Hotel Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. In Half Moon Bay, he takes over from Bernd Kuhlen.

Nicholas Welker has returned to Denver to join the JW Marriott Cherry Creek as Director of Operations. He was most recently at the Hotel Monaco Chicago as Assistant General Manager. Welker had previously served in posts with the Hotel Monaco Denver and the Doubletree Hotel Denver Southeast.  

The Tropicana Casino & Resort has named Alan Rivin Vice President, Operations. He had previously served as Vice President, Hotel Operations at the Trump Taj Mahal for five years.

Carlos Abaunza has been appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Cancun. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort for five years.

Karambir Kang is the new General Manager of the Taj Boston, where he replaces Jeffrey Seward who has left the company. Kang is a long time Taj employee whose previous positions included that of General Manager of the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai.

Marc Langevin has been appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman. He was previously the General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas where his successor is Bernd Kuhlen, formerly the General manager of the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay.

Bahamas' Grand Lucayan Resort has named Benjamin Davis General Manager. He was most recently Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Myers Group of Companies.

Christoph Moje has joined the soon-to-reopen Hotel Bel-Air as Hotel Manager, joining Ed Mady, his former mentor from their Ritz-Carlton San Francisco days. He was previously the Hotel Manager in San Francisco before taking on his most recent role as Director of Towers for the New York Palace, under Mady.

The Four Seasons Whistler has named Todd Yamaoka Resort Manager. He joined the company thirteen years ago at the Four Seasons Toronto and was most recently serving as Resort Manager of the Lodge at Koele.

Red Lion Hotels has named Julie Shiflett Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Dan Jackson. Shiflett joined the company last year as Vice President of Finance. She had previously served in finance positions for non-hospitality entities.

Aimbridge Hospitality has promoted Jay Anderson to Vice President of Finance and Assistant Treasurer, based in Dallas. He joined the company in 2007 as Director of Finance. He had previously worked with Wyndham Hotels for ten years including as Controller for the Boulders Golf Resort and the Golden Door Spa.

The Tropicana Casino & Resort has named Michael Rodriguez Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Rodriguez was most recently the Vice President of Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

Jess Wilner has been named Area Director of Finance at the Beverly Hills Hotel, replacing Janet Jacobs. Wilner was most recently the Director of Finance at the New York Palace.

Devanand Drepaul has been named Financial Controller at the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort. He was most recently in the same position at Carlisle Bay in Antigua.

The Four Seasons Vail has named Angelica Palladino Director of Food and Beverage. Since 2002, she had been with the Four Seasons Dallas, most recently as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. She had previously served as Restaurant Manager for the Four Seasons Berlin for four years.

Bernard Philippe has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Boulders Resort. He is the former General Manager at Arizona Outback Adventures.

Stephen Wancha has returned to the Four Seasons St. Louis as Food and Beverage Director. He had previously served in pre-opening positions for the hotel before moving to his most recent role as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons San Francisco.  

The Westin St. Maarten Resort and Spa has promoted Cristian Coro to Food and Beverage Director. He was most recently serving as Food and Beverage Manager.

Kevin Maguire has returned to the Enchantment Resort as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as its Food and Beverage Director and Executive Chef from 1995-2000. He is the former Executive Chef of the Copley Plaza Hotel and had held culinary posts with the St. Regis Aspen and the Tides Inn.

Dennis Lesko has returned to the Broadmoor as Vice President of Marketing, a position he had held from 1993 until 2001. He had left to join the Cloister at Sea Island as Vice President of Sales and Marketing before being named as Regional Vice President of Marketing with Ritz-Carlton Hotels.

Maureen Moran is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at New York's Bryant Park Hotel. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Distrikt Hotel. Moran is also a former Director of Sales and Marketing for Vikram Chatwal Hotels and at the Algonquin.

The Hilton Burlington has named Mari Breen Palace Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Group Sales Manager for the Sheraton Providence. Prior to that, she was General Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Shelton, Connecticut.  

George Allen has joined the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort And Spa and the Grand Pacific Resort as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently with L'Auberge Del Mar and Estancia La Jolla as Director of Sales. He is the former Director of Sales for La Quinta Resort and Club and La Costa.

Gregory Naylor has joined Hard Rock International in Atlanta as Director of Sales - Hotels and Casinos. For the past two years he had been with the West Paces Hotel Group as Corporate Director of Electronic Distribution and Sales Systems. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the West Paces run Hotel 71 in Chicago.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts has promoted Sean Mullen to the newly created role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. He was most recently serving the company as Corporate Vice President of Sales.

Benchmark Hospitality has appointed Warren Breaux Corporate Director of National Sales, based in Seattle. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Lansdowne Resort. Breaux is the former Vice President of Business Development for Hyatt Hotels.

White Lodging has promoted Cory Chambers to Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing - Full Service Division. He is the former pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing for the JW Marriott Indianapolis and the New Orleans Marriott.

El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma have appointed Richard Rodriguez Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously spent seven years as Director of Leisure Sales and Marketing at Occidental Hotels & Resorts, and is the former Director of Travel Industry Marketing for the Doral Golf Resort & Spa.

The JW Marriott Cherry Creek has appointed Zak Kimble Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Denver Marriott City Center.

Sarita Tabarez has joined Faena Hotels in New York as Business Development Director. She was most recently overseeing sales at the Soho and Tribeca Grand hotels as Director of Sales.

Laura Boiardi-Tsoumas has joined the Strand in New York as Director of Sales. For the past four years, she had been with Willow Hotels as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Regional Director of Sales with Small Luxury Hotels of The World and had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Avalon New York and the Lucerne.

Rob DelliBovi has moved to the Dream Hotel Downtown as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently in the same position for the Cooper Square Hotel. He had previously overseen entertainment sales for the Paramount and the Soho and Tribeca Grand Hotels.

Cindy O'Gorman has joined the Chatham Bars Inn as Director of Sales and Marketing, after holding the position of Director of Sales at the American Club for two years. O'Gorman is also a former Director of Sales and Marketing from Auberge Resorts' Inn at Palmetto Bluff.

The New Orleans Marriott has appointed Joan Esneault Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Vice President of Resort Sales at Foxwoods Resort Casino & MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Paul Pelican has been named Director of Sales at the Westin Westminster. He had previously held the title of Director of Sales at the Sheraton Denver Downtown and the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa.

Jessica Ortiz has joined Gild Hall in New York as Director of Sales. She was most recently the Associate Director of Sales for the Thompson Lower East Side. She had previously served in sales positions at the Taj Boston and the InterContinental Boston.

Jackie Galea has joined the InterContinental New York as Director of Corporate Sales. She was most recently the Assistant Director of Sales at the Morgans Hotel Group.

Darren Bernstein has been named Director of Entertainment Sales for Vikram Chatwal Hotels. He was most recently an Entertainment Sales Manager at the Empire Hotel.

Cody Hoyer has joined YOTEL New York as Director of Entertainment Sales. He was most recently a Senior Sales Manager overseeing the St. Giles New York, the Court and the Tuscany.

Cari Mitzner has been appointed Director of Sales at YOTEL New York. She was most recently the Assistant Director of Group Sales at Denihan Hospitality.

Bonnie Heller Somerstein is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for St. Giles New York. She was most recently in the same position for the Carlton New York and is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Bryant Park Hotel.

Marissa Hoppe has been appointed Director of Corporate and Industry Sales at the Setai Fifth Avenue. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at Stay for Vikram Chatwal Hotels.

Karen Mahrous has joined Taj Hotels in New York as Associate Director of Group Sales. She was most recently with Highgate Hotels as Director, Entertainment Sales.

Alexa Aldridge has been named Senior Group Sales Manager at the InterContinental New York Times Square. She was most recently a Regional Group Sales Manager for Millennium Hotels.

Kevin Siegrist has been named Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Enchantment Resort. For the past three years, he had been with the Hotel Jerôme in Aspen as Director of Catering. He is the former Director of Catering for the Hotel Monaco Denver.

Andrew Pollard has been named Director of Catering Operations at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center in Jacksonville/St. Augustine. For the past three years, he had served as Director of Events at the Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel and Spa.

Cyrille Holota has joined the W Atlanta as Executive Chef de Cuisine for BLT Steak. For the past nine years, he had been with Restaurant Joel Brasserie, most recently as Executive Chef. He was previously the Sous Chef for the Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta.

Alain Allegretti has opened La Promenade des Anglais in New York Chelsea area. He is the former Executive Chef at Le Cirque 2000 and the Ritz-Carlton New York at Central Park South.       

Damon Wise has moved to the Monkey Bar in New York as Executive Chef/Partner. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Craft New York.

Bernd Schmitt has been named Executive Chef of the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. He is the former Corporate Executive Chef for Canyon Ranch Resorts, and was most recently serving as Corporate Executive Chef for LSG Sky Chefs.

Ithmiaz Kader has been named Executive Chef at the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Park Plaza Westminster in London. He is the former Executive Chef for the Hilton Curaçao.

Robert Ash is the new Executive Chef at the Omni Orlando at Championsgate. He was most recently the Executive Chef of the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. Ash had previously been with the InterContinental Milwaukee as both Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in the kitchens for Wynn Resorts Las Vegas, Sushi Samba Chicago and N9NE Restaurant Chicago.

Alexandre Vacher has been named Executive Pastry Chef at the Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriott at LA Live. For the past four years he had served as Pastry Chef at Caesars Las Vegas. He is the former Assistant Pastry Chef at the Bellagio and Mix Restaurant at Mandalay Bay.

Caesars Palace Las Vegas has named Julian Perrigo-Jimenez Assistant Executive Pastry Chef. He was most recently in the same post with the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. He is the former Pastry Chef for the Bellagio Resort and worked at the Paris Las Vegas under Jean Claude Canestrier.

Dyan Ng has rejoined Caesars Palace Las Vegas as Specialty Pastry Chef de Cuisine and will oversee all restaurant dessert operations and dessert liaison. Previously, she was Executive Pastry Chef at Restaurant Guy Savoy and opened Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro Restaurant. She is the former Pastry Chef at Mix in Las Vegas for Alain Ducasse.

Michael Ireland has been named Wine Director of the Restaurant at Meadowood Napa Valley. He was most recently the Sommelier of Benu in San Francisco. He is the former Head Sommelier at Quince, and served as Sommelier for Thomas Keller at the French Laundry.

Belinda Chang has moved to the Monkey Bar as General Manager. For the past four years, she had been at the Modern as Wine Director. She had previously served in similar roles for Osteria Via Stato in Chicago and the Fifth Floor in San Francisco.

Jacques Villeneuve is now in Redondo Beach, serving as Director of Rooms for the Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club. He is the former General Manager of the Pan Pacific San Francisco, Resort Manager of Bacara Resort and Spa and Resident Manager of the Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows.

EUROPE

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Pascal Roult Corporate Director of Revenue Management EMEA, based in Geneva. He was most recently serving as Vice President of Field Support for Revenue Management, Pricing and Distribution with Sofitel Hotels, based in Paris.

The Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen, slated to open in 2012, has named Henrik Mansson General Manager. He is the former Senior Vice President Human Resources at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and Regional Director of Human Resources Europe at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts.

Aaron Kaupp is now in Milan as General Manager for the Armani Hotel. Mariella Avino comes in to take over for Kaupp in his most recent position as General Manager of the Palazzo Sasso in Ravello, Italy.

Carlos De Freitas is the new Director of Operations for Pestana Hotels in Portugal, based in Lisbon. He was most recently based in Brazil for the company as Area Director Bahia, overseeing the Pestana Bahia, the Pestana Lodge Urban Resort and the Pestana Convento Do Carmo. He is the former Operations Manager for Hidden Worlds Adventure Park based in Cancun, and Director of Operations for Fiesta Americana Vacation Club.

Pierre Alexandre Le Bihan has joined Le Meurice in Paris as Director of Operations. For the past two years, he had been with the Al Bustan Palace Intercontinental in Oman as Hotel Manager. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake and the InterContinental Singapore.

Marriott has promoted Neal Jones to Vice President Global Sales Intermediaries and Europe, based in London. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Marriott Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club and the JW Marriott Cairo.

Jean-Bernard Apouey has joined Groupe CYC3 in Bordeaux as Area General Manager Aquitania. For the past nine years, he had been with the Accor Group, most recently as General Manager of the Pullman Toulouse Airport.

Andrew Peart returns to England as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Four Seasons Hampshire. He had previously served as Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Canary Wharf before taking on his most recent post overseeing marketing at the Four Seasons Whistler.

Isabelle Bouvier has joined the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. She had previously served in marketing positions with Concorde Hotels & Resorts and the Westin Paris.

The Maybourne Hotel Group has promoted Natalie Kjellstrom to Worldwide Sales Director. Since 2009, she had held the post of Director of Sales for the Middle East, Asia and Americas for the company.

The Jumeirah Group has appointed Marnie Kovacs Director of Global Sales for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, based in London. She is the former Regional Director of Sales for CHI Hotels & Resorts and Director of Corporate and MICE with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.

The Stafford London has named Katerina Esakova Director of Sales. Most recently, Esakova served as Acting Assistant Director of Sales and Business Development Manager at the Langham London.

Emmanuel Garde is back in Moscow as Executive Chef at the Marriott Moscow. He was most recently in Cambodia in the same role for Raffles Le Royal after serving as Executive Chef for the Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow.

Andrea Accordi has been named Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Lion Palace St. Petersburg. He was most recently overseeing the kitchens for the Four Seasons Prague.

Richard Fuchs is returning to the Four Seasons Prague to take over from Andrea Accordi as Executive Chef.  He had previously served on the pre-opening team of the hotel for Allegro in 2000. He is the former Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Alexandria San Stefano.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Robert Murray has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer for Accor in South East and North East Asia. He joined Accor in 1993 and was most recently Senior Vice President for Accor Greater China.

Troy Hickox has joined Las Vegas Sands at the Cotai Strip in Macau as Executive Director of Hotel Operations. He was most recently the Hotel Manager for the Mira Hong Kong. He is the former Director of Hotel Operations of the Venetian Macau and Assistant Director of Rooms for the Four Seasons Hong Kong.

Bernhard Wimmer has been appointed General Manager for the Shangri-La Xian. He is the former Resident Manager at the Shangri-La Qingdao and the Shangri-La Beijing.

The recently opened Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach Wyndham Grand Resort on Kauai has named Frank Guarin General Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Sheraton Kauai Resort.

Mark Swinton has moved to Amanjiwo as General Manager. He was most recently in Beijing as General Manager of the Aman at the Summer Palace. He is the former Resident Manager for Amankora and General Manager of the Bale in Bali.

Stefan Noll will be taking over the Chedi Chiang Mai as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah in Indonesia. He had previously been at the Legian Bali as Executive Assistant Manager after joining the resort as Rooms Division Manager.

Jim Heather has been appointed General Manager of the Keauhou Beach Resort. He was most recently serving as General Manager of the Outrigger-managed Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel on Oahu.

Edward Linsley has been named General Manager of the Nam Hai in Vietnam. He had been with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for over twenty years, most recently with the Four Seasons Bali as Resort Manager. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Nevis and the Four Seasons Philadelphia before being promoted to Hotel Manager with the Four Seasons Houston. At the Nam Hai, Linsley replaces John Blanco who was promoted to head of the leisure real estate portfolio of Indochina Capital (owners of the Nam Hai.)

Nils-Arne Schroeder has been named General Manager of the Conrad Seoul, scheduled to open in 2012. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing. Schroeder is the former General Manager of the Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort and served as Director of Business Development for the Hilton Beijing, followed by the Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

Philippe Charraudeau has joined the ITC Grand Chola in India as General Manager. He was most recently with the Mövenpick Al Khobar as General Manager. Charraudeau was formerly with the Palace Hotel and Spa in Shanghai and the Hotel Islamabad Serena in Pakistan as General Manager.

Serge Couturiaux has joined the Hotel G in Beijing as General Manager. He is the former General Manager for the Golden Tulip Rabat and Resort Manager for the Baros Island Resort Maldives.

The Sheraton Keauhou Bay has named Steven Lindburg Managing Director. He was most recently the General Manager at the Waldorf Astoria Park City and previously spent sixteen years as General Manager at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center.

Francis Fernandes has been promoted to Hotel Manager for Kiridara, Luang Prabang. He joined the resort last year as Assistant Hotel Manager after holding management posts at the One&Only Maldives at Reethi Rah, the Island Hideaway Spa, Resort and Marina and the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa. 

James Viney has been named General Manager with Peninsula Clubs and Services in Hong Kong. He is the former Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Macau.

Chris Sommers is going to China with the Ritz-Carlton Sanya as Executive Assistant Manager. He was most recently the Director of Operations for the Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey, California. He is the former Director of Operations at the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya and Director of Rooms for the Moscow Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel.

Terry Hamada has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage for Halekulani. He replaces Sabine Glissmann who left last fall to take a similar position at the Omni Berkshire Place New York. Hamada was most recently with the Grand Park Hotel Otaru near Sapporo, Japan. He joined the hotel as Executive Chef before moving up to his most recent post as General Manager.

The Four Seasons Bangkok has promoted Reto Moser to Director of Food and Beverage. He joined the hotel last year as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. Moser had previously served in food and beverage positions for the Peninsula Chicago and the Four Seasons Terre Blanche.

Maxime de La Grange Sury has joined the Shangri-La Far Eastern Plaza Hotel as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the InterContinental Chicago in the same role. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the InterContinental Mark Hopkins.

Edouard Demptos has joined the Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position for the Hyatt Manila. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Hyatt Regency Casablanca and the Hotel Ballsbridge in Dublin.

Sidney Hardy has joined the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen as Executive Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage for the Grand Hyatt Shanghai. Hardy is a former Chef with the Grand Hyatt Seoul and the Fullerton Singapore.

Danny Parnack has moved to the Shangri-La Beijing as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at the Shangri-La Surabaya.

Maik Chrzescinski has moved to the Hilton Shanghai as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had been overseeing the restaurant of the Park Hyatt Shanghai.

Scott Boyer has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Four Seasons Shanghai in Pudong, slated to open next summer. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Ritz-Carlton Osaka and was most recently serving as Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Jakarta.

The Four Seasons Hualalai has named Chris White Director of Marketing. He was most recently in a similar position at the St. Regis Kauai. He is the former Director of Marketing of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and had previously spent ten years in Sales with Hyatt in Minneapolis, Calgary, Kauai and Vancouver.

Cindy Gagle has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu and will be based on the island. She was previously the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (Hawaii) for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the Kea Lani Resort Hotel and the Orchid Hotel.

Shanghai's PuLi Hotel and Spa has named Christina Hoang Regional Sales Manager. She had previously served in sales position with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and the St. Regis New York.

Christian Frigo is the new Italian Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya. He is the former Italian Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, and Le Royal Méridien Shanghai.

The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa has promoted Sven Cepon to Executive Chef, replacing Garth Welsh who transferred to the Westin Kuala Lumpur. Cepon is the former Executive Sous Chef of the W Retreat & Spa Maldives.

Raphaël Piveteau is now in China as Maitre d'Hôtel for Petrus at the Shangri-La Hong Kong. For the past two years, he had served as Director of Restaurants for the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. He had previously overseen the restaurant La Baie in the Ritz-Carlton Osaka and the Dining Room in the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.

Wayne Tan has been named Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Macao. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Hong Kong as Assistant Director of Rooms.

Benjamin Tumorticchi has joined the Shangri-La Chengdu as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Restaurant Manager at the Shangri-La-owned-and-operated Aberdeen Marina Club in Hong Kong.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has appointed Peter French Regional Vice President - Europe, Middle East & Africa. He is currently the General Manager at the Raffles Dubai and will continue in that role. French is the former General Manager of the Sukothai Bangkok, the Carlyle in New York and the Grosvenor House in London. He was also responsible for the ground-up renovation of the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Greg Pirkle has been named General Manager of the Four Seasons Riyadh. He has been with the company twenty two years, most recently as General Manager of the Four Seasons Langkawi.

Marcus Loevenforst has been named General Manager of the Istanbul EDITION. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Moscow. Loevenforst had previously overseen food and beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain and the Ritz-Carlton Berlin.

Cornell graduate Rocco Bova is now in Mauritius as Resident Manager for Les Pavillons. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage with the Al Bustan Palace Muscat in Oman. He had previously served in food and beverage posts with the Aman New Delhi and the Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

Xavier Lablaude is the new General Manager of Orient-Express' Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town. For the past ten years, he had been with sister Orient Express property the Hotel de la Cité in Carcassonne. Lablaude is the former Assistant General Manager for Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys.

Richard Scoble has been named General Manager of the JW Marriott Dubai. He had previously held posts with Trusthouse Forte, Moat House Hotels and Swallow Hotels.

Martin van Kan has been appointed General Manager of the Fairmont Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. He was most recently with InterContinental Hotels Group as the Director of Operations in Oman and the General Manager for the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat.

Michael Moecking has joined the Fairmont Dubai as General Manager. He is the former Area General Manager Germany for Swissôtel and General Manager of the Swissôtel Berlin.

Simon Stamper has been named Area General Manager of the InterContinental Hotels Group Citystars that includes the Holiday Inn Cairo - Citystars and the Staybridge Suites Cairo - Citystars. He was most recently the Area General Manager for the InterContinental Abu Dhabi.

The Four Seasons Baku has named Ahmed El Masry Director of Finance. He joined the company in 2000 and is the former Assistant Director of Finance at the Four Seasons Cairo at First Residence, and Finance Business Manager with the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa.

Mustafa Suer has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Baku. He is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Istanbul at Bosphorus.

Michael Braun has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Grand Hyatt Doha, and the Hyatt Regency Dubai.

The Four Seasons Baku has named Huseyin Avci Director of Engineering. He has been with Four Seasons for over 15 years most recently as Assistant Chief Engineer at the Four Seasons Canary Wharf.

Idil Tumoz has joined the Four Seasons Baku as Director of Human Resources. She was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet.

Roddy Gordon has been named Director of Marketing of the Rosewood Abu Dhabi, slated to open next year. He is the former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tamani Hotels and Resorts in Dubai.

Kemal Bayik has joined the Four Seasons Baku as Director of Sales. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for the W Bodrum and then the Kempinski Bodrum.

Stéphane Brallet has been appointed Executive Chef of Legends on Mauritius. He is the former Executive Chef at the One&Only Ocean Club in the Bahamas and was most recently with the Grand Mauritian Resort & Spa as Executive Chef.

Laurent Pommey has been named Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas. He is the former Executive Chef at the InterContinental Adelaide, the Hyatt Regency Adelaide, and the Hyatt Regency Paris Charles de Gaulle.
