  • Highgate, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company, announced the appointment of industry pioneer, Arash Azarbarzin, as Chief Executive Officer. He was formerly with SH Hotels and Resorts.
  • Jon Gersonde has been appointed General Manager of 1 Hotels property in Hanalei Hawaii. He previously has had success with Oil Nut Bay and Christophe Harbour in the Caribbean.
  • Ashbourne Farms has announced Ellie Talley as their Sales and Event Coordinator. She was previously with Blackberry Farms.
  • Ryan Morris,has been appointed the Vice President of sales in the Americas region by Group360. He will now report directly to Kemp Gallineau, president and chief executive officer. Before he joined Group360, Morris held leadership and sales positions at Gaylord Hotels in Orlando, FL and Dallas, TX, where he led sales teams, drove hotel bookings, and increased property revenue.
  • Jeff Gillick has been appointed the Director of Sales & Marketing at Holston House, Nashville. Gillick brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to the leadership team and will also play a vital role in opening Holston House's highly anticipated rooftop boozy tea service, set to launch in late 2021.
  • Holston House appointed Colby Mitchell as the Director of Food & Beverage. In this role, Mitchell leads the culinary team to create memorable and innovative culinary experiences for the hotel's guests and Nashville locals. With over 13 years of culinary experience, Mitchell brings an international perspective to his position at Holston House.
  • Four Seasons Hotel, San Francisco appoints Chef Kevin Tanaka as the new Executive Chef. A native of Waimanalao, Hawaii, Chef Tanaka brings more than 15 years of experience to the property. Overseeing the Hotel's dining outlet MKT Restaurant and Bar, in-room dining, and catering, Tanaka will lead the culinary team to ensure each outlet and each event is carefully executed and uniquely considered.
  • Matthew Barber appointed Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel, Atlanta. In his new role, Barber will guide the experiential vision of the AAA Five-Diamond property through his direction and oversight of all Hotel, Spa, Food & Beverage and Security departments.
  • Loretta Holleyhas been appointed Assistant Director, Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Hotel,Atlanta. With a keen eye for detail and personalized service, Holley brings a distinguished perspective to the holistic dining experience in her new role.
  • Demian Kojro has been promoted to Rooms Division Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel, Atlanta. Kojro is now responsible for much of the first impressions and curated guest connections at the Hotel.
  • Dream Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Mensi as General Manager of Unscripted Durham. Mensi is responsible for the management of the boutique hotel and its three on-site food and beverage outlets, as well as executive oversight, recruitment and development of staff, annual hotel budgets and assuring guest satisfaction.
  • Rosewood Miramar Beach is pleased to announce the promotion of Rick Fidel to Managing Director.   • Javier Tafoya has been appointed the General Manager of the Springhill Suites Denver at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Tafoya brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to his new role as General Manager having previously served as the General Manager for the Fairfield Inn and Suites Cheyenne.
  • Davidson Hospitality Group announces the promotion of Thom Geshay to Chief Executive Officer and President. Geshay succeeds John Belden, Davidson's longest-serving CEO, who will remain actively engaged as Executive Chairman, as well as a member of Davidson's Board of Directors.
  • Randy Lee steps in as the new Vice President of Investments of the Peachtree Hotel Group, LLC in Atlanta. Lee's responsibilities will include managing the company's dispositions and supporting real estate investment executions.
  • Four Seasons Hotel Toronto introduces Patrick Pollak as General Manager as he ushers the Hotel into its exciting new chapter. Pollak joins the brand's global flagship property from Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and brings impressive 25-year tenure with Four Seasons.
  • David O'Donoghue, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Hospitality at Cabot. In this role, O'Donoghue will work closely with Cabot CEO and Co-founder Ben Cowan-Dewar to lead the growth of Cabot's expanding portfolio of world-class destination golf resorts' hospitality and club operations.
  • Chris Ferrier, has been appointed Executive Chef of Lansdowne Resort located in Leesburg, Virginia. Ferrier is an accomplished food and beverage hospitality executive with a successful history of leading profitable Food & Beverage operations. Ferrier's background includes experience in high-volume kitchens and 4-star resorts, banquets and fine dining.
  • Banyan Cay Resort and Golf, announces the appointment of David Kohlasch as General Manager. Kohlasch will lead the project toward its planned 2022 opening. A seasoned hotelier with more than two decades of experience in independent and branded hospitality operations, Kohlasch joins Banyan Cay as General Manager of both the resort and golf club.
  • Tom Barber has been appointed Managing Director at Mission Hill Hospitality, Denver. A highly accomplished C level executive with a career that has focused on finance, operations, strategy, sales, mergers and acquisitions; Barber brings decades of deep hospitality experience to Mission Hill.
  • The Asbury Collection has announced the appointment of Ferran Sanfelimon as Managing Director. Drawing upon more than 14 years of leadership experience, Sanfelimon will now oversee all operations ofAsbury Ocean Club, The Asbury Hotel and Asbury Lanes in the heart of Asbury Park, New Jersey.

  • Juniper Downs has been appointed Global Head ofCommunity Policy and Partnerships, where she will oversee the team responsible for the rules that govern behavior on the Airbnb platform.   • BWH Hotel Group announced today that Lawrence M. Cuculic has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer by the company's Board of Directors. Cuculic has been serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the company for 12 years and will assume his new role as President and CEO on December 1, 2021.
  • Nelson A. Sanchez has been appointed executive sous chef at The Marriott Irvine Spectrum. Sanchez brings more than a decade of culinary experience to the hotel's diverse outlets, including Heirloom Farmhouse Kitchen and Hive & Honey Rooftop Bar, a hotspot for sunset revelers to enjoy craft cocktails and local brews.
  • Stacey Kokosinski has been appointed director of sales and marketing at ADERO Scottsdale, an Autograph collection hotel. Kokosinski brings more than 25 years of experience and oversees all aspects of sales and marketing strategies and revenue management for the 177-room property, which is the region's only Dark Sky Zone resort.
  • Noelle Nashville today announced the appointment of Executive Chef Diego Fernandez to its culinary leadership team. Bringing nearly two decades of culinary experience to his role, Fernandez is responsible for the concepting and execution for dining menus at the storied property's various food and beverage outlets as well as catering for meetings, groups and events and in-room dining.
  • David Fricaud has been appointed Executive Chef at Malibu Beach Inn, Carbon Beach Club. Fricaud will drive the hotel's culinary operations for CBC, in-room dining, banquet operations, as well as CBC's curbside offerings.
  • Colleen Huther has been appointed General Manager at Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver. Formerly the general manager of luxury Forbes-rated Belmond El Encanto, Huther is welcomed to her role as general manager of Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver following several executive hotel positions from coast to coast.
  • Kimberley de Tessan has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Centric DowntownDenver. She leads a thriving sales team and creates a culture that fosters honest connections, a winning spirit, and a core value of fun.
  • The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Kadel as the resort's General Manager. A long-time member of the Marriott International family, Kadel brings more than 24 years of industry experience and leadership to this role.

  • Alvaro Fraile has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Azul Hospitality group in San Diego. Fraile will report directly to Azul President and CEO Rick Mansur. Fraile joins Azul from Marriott International, where he most recently served as Vice President of Franchise Operations.
  • Craig Waterman has been appointed General Manager at BEI San Francisco, Trademark Collection by Wyndham. In his new role, Waterman is responsible for day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and helping in the development of creative programming and the rebuilding of group business.
  • Slava Borisov has been appointed Lead Mixologist at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. While still living in Siberia, Borisov won several bartending competitions, a trajectory that inspired him to further pursue his newfound passion and become a leading professional in the industry.
  • Sheraton Dallas welcomes Jennifer Caldwell as the new Director of Group Sales. Caldwell began her career with Marriott 21 years ago and joins Sheraton Dallas from her previous position as Associate Director of Sales at Marriott Rivercenter& Riverwalk, where she led key members of the sales team and managed the Texas citywide market.
  • Jimmy Teixeira has been appointed Director of Sales at Hotel Forty Five in Macon. In this role, Teixeira will oversee all sales efforts for the 11-story hotel, the first in Macon's Historic Central Business District and the city's first member of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio.
  • Sean Foley has been appointed Executive Chef at Union Station Nashville Yards for overseeing the hotel's growing portfolio of restaurant andcatering services. Chef Foley will lead the menu development and operations of The Union Station NashvilleYard's casual, fine dining, event catering, and room service menus.
  • Flamingo Resort in Santa Rosa has appointed Michael Palmer as General Leader. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Palmer brings a plethora of local connections and a unique insight from his tenure as General Manager of Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa Valley that will be valuable in carrying out the SPOKEN experience for guests and team members at Flamingo Resort.

  • The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa welcomes Shana Ominsky as the new Spa Director for Trellis Spa and Solaya Spa and Salon. Ominsky brings more than 20 years of luxury spa experience to the role, including key positions at several of the most renowned five-star resorts in the country.
  • Brendalee Vialpando has been appointed Executive Chef at Timber Cove Resort in Jenner. As executive chef she will lead the Coast Kitchen team in expanding the restaurant's menu offerings with a greater focus on seafood and vegetable-forward dishes and collaborating with local fisherman, farmers and ranchers.

  • Hilton San Francisco Union Square announced Marcelo Salinas as Executive Chef of the largest hotel in San Francisco and in Hilton Hotels & Resorts' west coast portfolio. Salinas will oversee culinary operations for the property's 130,000 square feet of meeting space as well as its five food and beverage outlets.
  • Josh Kutcher has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at The Sanctuary Beach Resort in Marina. In his role with The Sanctuary Beach Resort, Kutcher manages food and beverage operations for Salt Wood Kitchen & Oysterette, the resort's signature dining experience, as well as in-room dining and events.

  • Steigenberger Airport hotel Frankfurt, Germany, has appointed Peter B. Mikkelsen as General Manager. Mr. Mikkelsen replaces Stefan Frank, who moved to Corporate Office as Senior Director Operations for both Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts and Jaz in the City. This switch formed part of Deutsche Hospitality's strategic realignment.
  • Steigenberger Hotel & Spa, Krems, Austria, has appointed Peter Martin as General Manager. Peter Martin now takes up the reins in Krems on a provisional basis.   • Four Seasons Hotel Moscow has appointed Reto Moser as General Manager. Continuing a career spanning almost two decades, several continents and many countries, the Swiss native moves to the Russian capital from Cairo where Moser spent four years as Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza.
  • Hôtel Lutetia in Paris, is pleased to announce Jean-Pierre Trevisan has been named General Manager. Prior to that, Jean-Pierre was at The Ritz Paris, where he spent more than seven years as Hotel Director and notably played a key role in project management during the successful renovation of the property between July 2012 and June 2016. He had joined The Ritz in 2006 as F&B Director.
  • EasyHotel Plc in London has named Karim Malakas its new CEO. Mr. Malak will leave the Adagio apart hotel group, where he had been General Manager for five years, to join EasyHotel. In addition to working at Accenture and Boston Consulting Group during his consulting career, he also founded Mereo, a revenue management and pricing consulting firm.
  • RAIZUP in Berlin has appointed SaschaDaligas Ambassador. SaschaDalig has been at home in the hotel industry for over 25 years. Beginning with a classic apprenticeship, the trained hotel specialist has sought the way into strategic management through various positions with chains and individual hotels.
  • Citadines Islington London has appointed Samuel Ballard as Residence Manager. Samuel Ballard has been appointed Residence Manager of Citadines Islington London, part of The Ascott Limited (Ascott) and the newest addition to the Citadines Apart'hotel portfolio in London. Samuel will oversee the 108-apartment serviced residence located in London's exciting new Islington Square neighborhood.
  • Intercontinental & Holiday Inn Express Malta in St. Julian's announced the appointment of Carlos Malliaroudakis as Cluster General Manager. Carlos, a Greek national born in Lebanon, started his hospitality journey back in 1988 in Athens, Greece. He brings an international hospitality experience of 33 years, mainly in luxury properties where he spent 20 years with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), and more than 13 years with hotel companies such as Accor, Rotana and other privately owned hotels.
  • GroupeBarrière in Paris has appointed Laurence Barreauas Commercial Director. Laurence Barreau has carried out most of her activity within large French hotel groups, for luxury and premium brand portfolios. From 2009 to 2014, she was Sofitel Europe Sales Director, and then joined the Global Sales team as Business Development Director for Sofitel, MGallery and Pullman, where she implements the strategic commercial decisions and actions of luxury and high-end brands.
  • Cushman & Wakefield in Amsterdam, announced the appointment of Dennis Leib as Head of Hotel Transactions for the Benelux region. Leib was previously Acquisitions Director for Amsterdam-based Sircle Collection (owner of the Sir, Max Brown and Park Central brands), for whom he secured deals for new hotels domestically within Netherlands and in markets as diverse as Barcelona, Vienna, Lisbon, Milan and Ibiza.
  • Kempinski Hotels S.A. in Geneva has appointed IsidoroGerettoas Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Kempinski Supervisory Board has resolved on an early extension of IsidoroGeretto's mandate as Member of the Management Board Kempinski AG and confirmed his role as Chief Financial Officer of the Kempinski Group.
  • Rosewood Vienna, Austria has appointed Alexander Lahmeras Managing Director. Alexander has 20 years of experience working with hotels in operational and pre-opening roles across the globe, having first joined the Rosewood family in 2013 as the hotel manager for Rosewood Beijing. Most recently, he held the Hotel Manager position at Rosewood Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the property's pre-opening development and ongoing operations as related to all guest facing areas including food and beverage outposts, rooms, residences and the property's wellness concept, Asaya.

  • 25hoursHotel One Central, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, announced the appointment of Aisling Jennings as the new Director of Sales. Jennings is an expert in her field with a history of sales success and ability to develop sales potential within new and existing markets whilst motivating staff and achieving results.
  • Jean-Francois Brun has been appointed as General Manager of 25hours Hotel One Centra, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.   • 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, announced Josh Craddock as assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. Making a name for himself in UK hospitality, Craddock now finds himself in Dubai. Craddock has also worked for Fairmont, Wyndham and Malmaison and holds an honors degree from Oxford Brookes University.

  • The Retreat Palm Dubai has appointed Mouin Al Najjadas its Sous Chef. Prior to this role at The Retreat Palm Dubai, he was the Arabic chef at Lapita Hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts. He also worked as a chef de partie at Al Iwan Restaurant at Burj Al Arab, and as sous chef at Bonnington Hotel JLT and Tamani Hotel Marina.
  • The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Qatar announces the promotion of IkramiBousaadia to Director of Rooms. After a front office agent job in Tunis, Bousaadia joined Ritz-Carlton Doha as front office agent in 2011. Staying at the front office for seven years, he would go on to become Supervisor, Assistant Manager and then Manager of the department.
  • Oman’s Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Avani Muscat Hotel promoted Marwan Al Zadjalias Cluster Marketing Manager. Marwan Al Zadjali has been promoted to the position of Cluster Marketing Manager at Minor Hotels in Oman. He now handles both Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar, as well as Avani Muscat Hotel.
  • Tamer Farouk has been appointed to the General Manager for Hilton Bahrain, an upscale new hotel and residences expected to open in the first quarter of 2022. Farouk is bringing more than 25 years of Hilton experience across Egypt and different GCC countries to this upcoming Hilton hotel. Farouk is also an active part of the community and volunteers for local organization and charities, keeping in line with Hilton's overall service culture and giving back philosophy.
  • Jodie O’Meara has been named Director of Food & Beverage of the Hyde Hotel in Dubai. As director of F&B, she will oversee four dining outlets, including Mediterranean venue Cleo, Japanese restaurant Katsuya, gastropub Hudson Tavern and cafe The Perq.
  • Taha Mohamed has been appointed to the Executive Assistant Manager for W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Mohamed was previously at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel in Japan as Assistant Director of Rooms. Here he handled over 1,000 keys and 250 team members, responsible for the entire rooms division, including front of house, housekeeping, fitness and recreation departments.
  • Days Hotel by Wyndham Deira in Dubai has announced Shayne Monasterioas its new Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing. Monasterio has 15 years of marketing and public relations experience, most recently working as a cluster marketing manager and public relations for six hotels at Yas Island - Yas Plaza Hotels including Crowne Plaza, Staybridge Suites, Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Rotana and Centro.
  • Mary Kiliny has been named Cluster Front Office Manager of Days Hotel by Wyndham Deira in Dubai. Kiliny will lead up the front office team, which also includes the switchboard, guest relations and concierge services. Her professional acumen spans 15 years across the GCC region in markets including Egypt, Qatar and the UAE at notable hotels such as Sheraton Grand, St. Regis Hotel, Fairmont Towers & Heliopolis, among others.
  • Giampaolo Scarfi has been named Director of Food & Beverage of Days Hotel by Wyndham Deira in Dubai. Scarfi, an Italian national, will direct the F&B teams towards strong financial returns in his department. He will also be entrusted with boosting his venues' visibility in the market while keeping costs under control.
  • Juan Marsh has been appointed to the Cluster Training Manager for Days Hotel by Wyndham Deira in Dubai.   • Hyatt Place Dubai announces the promotion of Bhishmaraj Singh to General Manager of Sales in the Americas.
