The results for Michelin Guide Shanghai 2018 were announced in a press conference on Wednesday, this is the Guide's second year advancing in Shanghai, following last year's list.
Overall, 30 of Shanghai's finest F&B venues were awarded the highly coveted Michelin stars this year, while a further 27 were awarded the Bib Gourmand.
This year, two Shanghai restaurants were awarded three Michelin stars with Ultraviolet joining T'ang Court. New additions to the list include Wujie, Bo Shanghai and Jean-Georges.

Bib Gourmand
The Bib Gourmand is given to restaurants offering "exceptional good food at moderate prices," meaning restaurants we can actually afford. According to Michelin, in Shanghai this is priced at being able to enjoy a full meal for RMB200 or less.
