The property has been redesigned by San Francisco-based interior designer Michael Booth of BAMO with a renewed style and contemporary elegance befitting Mandarin Oriental's first hotel in the United States.

With an entirely new Italian travertine marble lobby, completely refurbished guest rooms and suites, and a soon-to-launch signature restaurant under the direction of Executive Chef Adam Mali, the hotel is poised at the forefront of luxury hospitality in San Francisco.

Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco's 158 guestrooms, including seven suites, are beautifully designed with a calming, timeless aesthetic which frames the dramatic views of San Francisco and the Bay from the city's third tallest building. Each guest room features custom-designed furnishings with a hint of French Deco and a home-away-from-home experience reflected in plush blue couches, large white ash burl wooden desks, and 400-thread count linens promising a peaceful night's slumber.

For the utmost indulgence, the stunning suites are individually designed, each with a furnished, 800-square-foot landscaped terrace, perfect for admiring the spectacular views. The interiors have been thoroughly modernized and decorated in lush textures with a cool blue and silver palette. Spacious bathrooms provide a spa-like ambience with luxury rain head showers and freestanding sculptural bathtubs furnished with Molton Brown bath amenities to allow guests to indulge in comfort and relaxation.

The hotel provides a stylish setting for the latest addition to San Francisco's culinary scene with its signature restaurant, Brasserie S&P, which opens mid-May. Serving brasserie-style, San Francisco cuisine and refined cocktails complemented with a diverse wine program, Brasserie S&P will offer all-day dining from a creative menu, designed by Executive Chef Adam Mali, which incorporates the finest, seasonal ingredients found in California.

Guests can enjoy an extensive array of cocktails, plus a wide selection of gin and tonics, accompanying a delicious menu to satisfy the palate of discerning guests.

Already renowned for excellence in event planning, the hotel will unveil more than 5,000 square feet of elegantly designed, versatile, and technologically-advanced function rooms, later this summer. These provide the ideal atmosphere for business meetings, special events, lavish weddings, and social gatherings.

Thoughtfully designed, all of the hotel's function space is conveniently situated on the second level with outdoor space for intimate gatherings located on the 40th floor. A professional planning team will ensure every event is executed with the uncompromising attention to detail for which Mandarin Oriental is renowned.

A pronounced sense of comfort, warmth, and city charm is conveyed through the design aesthetic of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, and this, combined with exceptional standards of service for which the hotel is renowned, provides guests with an ideal setting for business or leisure.
