Singapore will play host to the Bay Challenge, a new sailing event held in conjunction with Boat Asia 2011, from 14 to 15 May 2011.

The event will be held against the backdrop of Marina Bay's spectacular skyline which includes Marina Bay Sands, The Arts Science Museum, The Promontory at Marina Bay and Marina Bay Financial Centre.

The Bay Challenge aims to attract at least 10,000 spectators over the two-day event and is envisaged to play a big part in introducing a broader nautical lifestyle to a larger audience.

Spectators at the Bay Challenge at Marina Bay can also visit Boat Asia 2011, Asia's largest boat show with a showcase of sailing yachts, powerboats and other prestigious lifestyle brands.
