Shangri-La Hospitality comes to Sydney, Australia.

On the lst of July 2003, the Shangri-La logo was hoisted up to the
rooftop to adorn the façade of the ANA Harbour Grand Hotel to signify the
introduction of the renowned Shangri-La brand of hospitality to Sydney,
Australia. The legendary Shangri-La logo will become a prominent feature
enhancing the skyline of the Sydney Harbour.

Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts was appointed to manage the 561-room ANA
Harbour Grand Hotel located between the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge in the historic Rocks district of the city by the owner, the Singapore-based GIC Real Estate.

The five-star 36-storey property strategically located within walking
distance of the central business district, major shopping facilities and
tourist attractions features some of Sydney's most dramatic harbour views
from the city's most spacious guestrooms with 81 Horizon Club rooms on six
floors offering a host of special privileges and amenities for frequent
travellers. The Hotel also boasts of some of the city's top restaurants
and bars such as the Horizons Bar, Japanese Restaurant on 36 providing
spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour, The Brasserie, The Rocks
Teppanyaki, Lobby Lounge and Harts Pub. Other features of the hotel are
the finest meeting and convention facilities including a pillarless Grand
Ballroom, 14 function rooms and boardrooms, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool
and spa, sauna, steam room, solarium and treatment rooms as well as a
Business Centre.

The hotel was formally rebranded as the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney from
the 1st of July 2003. Staff of the Hotel have been working round the clock
putting on the finishing touches to the interior and exterior of the Hotel
to reflect Shangri-La's identity which will be synonymous with all the 39
Shangri-La hotels located in mainland China, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR,
Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
