Raffles named one of the best employers in Singapore for 2nd Time.

Raffles International has been ranked as one of Singapore's top 10 employers for 2003. This is the second time that the Singapore hotel group has been honoured with a place on the list by Hewitt Associates, a global human resource management consulting and outsourcing firm.

The rating was given in the second Singapore's Best Employers study conducted in 2003 by Hewitt, which similarly ranked Raffles International in its inaugural study in 2001. Raffles was then the only homegrown company ranked among the top 10 companies based in Singapore.
Chairman and CEO of Raffles International, Ms Jennie Chua said, "It has always been a commitment at Raffles International to attract and retain the best talent and ensure that they are motivated in the right way to excel, thereby giving us a competitive edge in the industry. While this Best Employer of the Year award recognises and reinforces that commitment, the true reward lies in the knowledge that our staff have grown in both their career and personal development."

Each year Hewitt Associates conducts Best Employers studies in more than 15 countries around the world to learn more about what connects employees to their companies and how this employee engagement leads to improved business results. The Best Employers studies collect data from CEOs, employees, and HR departments to create a picture of the workings of each participating organisation. The study this year was held in conjunction with The Asian Wall Street Journal and Far Eastern Economic Review, and supported by The Straits Times in Singapore.
