Honored as a best hotel for business service and meetings and awarded best chain by Executive Travel Readers.

The votes are in and Hilton Hotels & Resorts earns the top honor of Best Hotel Chain from Executive Travel readers. Hilton also finished in the top three for the Best Hotel for Business Service and Best Hotel for Meetings categories in the magazine's annual Leading Edge Awards, which recognize the best and most innovative companies within the travel industry. Hilton's guest loyalty program, Hilton HHonors®, was named one of the top three frequent guest programs.

In announcing its 2008 Leading Edge Awards winners, Executive Travel wrote that the honorees excelled at serving the travel community with enthusiasm and offering innovative products and services during a year of uncertainty and turmoil within the travel industry. The recognition from Executive Travel comes as Hilton introduces its Hilton Meetings product for small meetings throughout the Americas and enhances its offerings for business travelers.

Executive Travel is a magazine for frequent business travelers and addresses issues unique to the lifestyle of educated, affluent professionals on the go. The publication has 125,000 subscribers and annually invites its readers to participate in its Leading Edge Award balloting, which honors multiple businesses within the travel industry. More respondents participated in the 2008 Executive Travel online survey than in any previous year.

Readers selected Hilton Hotels & Resorts as the Best Hotel Chain. Hilton finished second in the Best Hotel for Business Service category and third in the Best Hotel for Meetings category. Hilton HHonors, the only guest loyalty program to offer Points & Miles® and No Blackout dates, was voted the second best frequent guest program.
