Throw away all the paper maps with highlighted routes from the hotel to your destination!

Rosewood, is pleased to announce the Travel NaviGuide program: an exclusive partnership with Garmin International Inc., to provide GPS pocket navigators at all properties in North America.  Beginning in mid-September, guests will no longer have to use maps to navigate their way through foreign cities.

At The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, in New York City, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, A Rosewood Hotel, in Dallas and Hotel Crescent Court, A Rosewood Hotel, also in Dallas, guests can simply use the new iQue M3 to find their way from the hotel to a business meeting or luncheon, and maybe some afternoon shopping.

Replacing paper maps, which are cumbersome and often confusing, the iQue M3 is the ideal mapping device for even the biggest luddite, featuring larger, intuitive icons that make application navigation easier using an index finger or a stylus. Additionally, the iQue M3 maintains the integrity of the Pocket PC applications found in traditional PDAs; a fabulous time-saving tool that is ideal for exploring new cities - whether on foot or in a car, for business or for pleasure.

Choosing between a three-dimensional navigation view or a two-dimensional overhead view, urban unplugged Rosewood guests can see where they are in the city on an electronic map, look up an address, and see a route calculation. An integrated speaker gives voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions to destinations - guiding guests through each geographic destination.

The iQue M3 devices have been pre-programmed with detailed street-level map data, and help guests navigate their way to any of the over six million points of interest that relate to Dallas and New York; including landmarks, restaurants, shops as well as major highways, thoroughfares, railways, lakes, rivers and borders.
