Hyatt Web Check- In offers members the opportunity to check-in online a minimum of two hours, prior to arrival (local hotel time), beginning at 9:00 a.m. eastern time on the day of arrival.
Currently, more than 60 properties are offering the Hyatt Web Check-In service and is available for stays at participating properties in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
"Hyatt is determined to give its guests greater control of their travel experience," said Matt Adams, vice president of operations for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. "Checking in online accelerates the arrival process and guarantees room and bed type, smoking preference and ensures customers that their room will be ready. Hyatt has introduced a number of products that make time away from home a more enjoyable experience. Hyatt Web Check-In is another example of Hyatt's commitment to improving and easing the overall travel experience."
In the near future, Hyatt Web Check-In will also be available using a PDA or handheld wireless device, Adams said.
Following the simple web check-in process and upon arrival at participating Hyatt properties, guests simply swipe a credit card at a Hyatt Express Kiosk to receive their room assignment and room key. The kiosk may also be used for quick check out, and provides a full account summary. Guests can also proceed to the front desk for check-in and check out, if desired.
For first time users, Hyatt Web Check-In is complete with easy to read instructions and demonstration graphics.
As an introduction to Hyatt Web Check-In, now through July 31, 2006, Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum and Diamond members using Hyatt Web Check-In will earn 1,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points. Guests who type "WEBIN" into the "Offer Code" field during the Hyatt Web Check-In process will receive the bonus points.
