Source : Marriott International Inc.

In total, 55 properties with 9,407 keys are in the pipeline for AC Hotels by Marriott.

2021 will see a constant flow of openings, with 31 hotels and 5,107 rooms set to go live, meaning well over half of the AC Hotels projects we’re tracking will complete this year. Seven are already in the pre-opening phase and will welcome their first guests shortly.

2022 is looking a bit less busy, with 13 properties and 2,186 rooms scheduled to open. Only five hotels with 1,149 keys are currently on the books for 2023, while six more are being lined up for 2024 and beyond.

Key growth regions for Marriott’s prolific hotel brand
North America, where Marriot is based, takes the lead on a region-by-region basis, with 39 new hotels and 6,190 additional keys on their way. Of these, no fewer than 35 will launch in the US, growing the country’s offering by 5,535 rooms.

Europe takes second place in terms of growth – it’ll see nine more AC Hotels, bringing 1,919 keys into play. Poland and Germany are the dominant national markets here, with four and two upcoming openings respectively.

Four hotels are also planned in the APAC region, while Latin America will get two new properties and one will launch in Africa.
