Strategic alliance bolsters hotelier's cross-market opportunities. Rotana Hotels, a leading hotel operator in the Middle East, released details today of their recently signed strategic sales and marketing alliances with three top European and US based hotel operators, including Thistle Hotels, a full service UK hotel group, Affinia Hospitality, New York City's first and largest all-suite hotel group and First Hotels, who operate 61 hotels across Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
The Rotana group, which operates hotels and resorts throughout the Middle East, providing traditional Arabian hospitality combined with modern day luxury, sees these alliances as offering considerable potential both for business growth and extended brand loyalty through the mutual exchange of business and trade connections.
Daniel Hajjar, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Rotana Hotels said: "Our partnerships will generate considerable Sales & Marketing opportunities, which will benefit the four organisations. Our main focus will be on the exchange of resources, knowledge and experience in regard to the Middle East, UK, New York and Scandinavian markets. Being one of the leading hotel operators in the Middle East, it is of an utmost importance to us to enter into these type of alliances as these are our key feeding markets."
Thistle Hotels operate properties throughout the UK and is the largest hotel operator in London while Affinia Hospitality is New York City's first and largest all-suite hotel group. The Scandinavian group, First Hotels, operate contemporary hotels throughout Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Richard Adler, Thistle Hotels' Director of Sales and Marketing, said: "These partnerships mark an important step in meeting our international ambitions. By adding Rotana Hotels, Affinia Hospitality and First Hotels to our roster of alliance partnerships, we are able to provide our customers a service offering in the Middle East, New York and Scandinavia while leveraging the commercial opportunities of Middle East customers visiting the UK." |
