Think your website has got what it takes? Is it among the best of the Australian travel web? Then let everybody know by entering the TRAVELtech GlobalCollect Web Awards.

It's set to be the biggest yet because, for the first time, they are open to every website that has staff (tech or sales) permanently based here in Australia.
This means that some of the travel web's biggest brands are now eligible. The results should be sensational. Are you game?
ENTRY: There are two ways to enter. You can send the URL and all relevant site details through to Martin.Kelly-at-TravelTrends.biz. Or you can simply post your site's URL and the reasons why you think it should be seriously considered. Entries must be received by Friday, August 30, 2012.
ELIGIBILITY: The TRAVELtechies are for the first time open to every website with staff – either sales or tech – permanently based in Australia. That's it. Simple.
PROCESS: The winning sites will be chosen by independent judges from a shortlist of 25 websites across retail, air, car, hotel, accommodation, media, destination marketing, tours, activities, rail and cruising. Past winners are Hooroo (2012), VroomVroomVroom (2011), Hotels Combined (2010) and Lonely Planet (2009).
JUDGING CRITERIA: The five criteria each website will be judged on are – Innovation, Design and Usability, Meeting the Brief, Speed and Build, Content.
POINTS BASED SYSTEM: First past the post principal. Each of the five judging criteria is worth a maximum 10 points. Scores from each category will added together, a mark out of 50 awarded and the website with the highest score is TRAVELtech Website of the Year, while there are also awards for TRAVELtech Top Ten Websites.
The winners will be announced at the conclusion of TRAVELtech in Sydney on September 13 and posted the following day on
www.traveltrends.biz. The judges' decision will be final.
