On completion, the Burgu Arjaan by Rotana - divided into two connected towers, Burgu 1 and Burgu 2 - will have a total of 222 rooms, while the Tango Arjaan by Rotana will be a 188-key hotel.

The two Burgu towers, with 111 rooms each, will share a host of vital facilities such as the lobby, lobby café, business centre, restaurant, health club and indoor pool, outdoor pool and landscaped areas, as well as five to six meeting and conference rooms.

Selim El Zyr, President & CEO of Rotana (right), said the new properties will answer the needs of the hospitality market in the Istanbul region with two highly sought-after product offerings. "Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana are designed to close the gap between hotel and home and we are entering the vibrant Turkish leisure market for the first time with this concept. The new properties will represent a milestone for Rotana - the Tango and Burgu Arjaan by Rotana will be the first step in taking our brand, which is already iconic in the Middle East and Africa region, to the wider world," El Zyr said.

With the ‘Rent while you are away' scheme, which is common worldwide but is yet to gain ground in Turkey, the properties provide an alternative source of income for owners. The weekly, monthly and annually rented apartments will be operated and managed by a professional system and apartment owners will have the choice of an extra income by renting their places through Rotana to immediately begin earning returns on their investments," El Zyr added.

The new Istanbul properties to be operated by Rotana will offer a privileged city life to families and guests who want to stay for a long time in the most beautiful buildings of the region. Starting from the moment guests arrive to the second they leave, they will feel at home in the fully furnished apartments with 24-hour room service.

Each  apartment offers fabulous views of the surrounding areas and the aim is to give every resident a sense of belonging, as well as to create a hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ultra-high speed wireless Internet connections, LCD televisions, fully equipped and furnished kitchens, courteous and discreet staff, and the highest quality leisure facilities will make these Hotel Apartments an absolute pleasure to stay in.

Ziya Yilmaz, Chairman and owner of Dap Yapi underscored the significance of this partnership with Rotana, saying Rotana was chosen as a partner for being a hospitality pioneer in the Middle East and Africa which is evident in the development of its brand of hotels, already a proven success across the region.

The projects are located on Turkey's longest coastal lane starting from Fener and ending at Tuzla, which is also convenient for both leisure and work. The area is experiencing high visitor traffic and demand for temporary as well as long-term accommodation make the Hotel Apartments attractive choices.

With this in mind, the Tango Arjaan by Rotana and Burgu Arjaan by Rotana are responding to the need for quality accommodation in the region. Apart from the comfort of a five-star hotel in terms of quality and service, these projects will have health, entertainment, shopping and sports facilities on-site and host a warm home environment.
