The property will undergo an extensive refurbishment lasting 12-18 months before being unveiled in 2015 as Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. It will be one of the most spacious resort hotels in Singapore and one of the very few hotels in the country located next to the beach, while still being accessible to the city, Royal Group and Accor said on Wednesday. The property will have 215 keys including suites and villas, with renovations handled by DP Architect/DP Green Landscape, and interiors by design house MaxStudio. Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa will have 215 keys including suites and villas. It will also offer a grand ballroom and terrace with sea views, extensive landscaped grounds, two refurbished ballrooms and a brand new pre-function room.
The property will also offer an exclusive So Spa consisting 14 treatment rooms, six outdoor spa pavilions and a spa garden. Other leisure facilities will include two swimming pools, tennis, volleyball, and badminton courts among others.
Royal Group bought the property, formerly known as The Sentosa - A Beaufort Hotel, for S$210.85 million from Hong Kong-based HKR International.
