News on the latest development at Hong Kong based New World Hospitality: as of 29 May 2013 the company name has changed to Rosewood Hotel Group.

Rosewood Hotel Group owns a multi-brand portfolio with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts as its marquee brand.

The group’s foundation is its commitment to “Relationship Hospitality” – a belief that true hospitality springs from the nurturing and building of strong and lasting relationships with fellow associates, guests, partners and the communities in which its hotels operate. By doing so, Rosewood Hotel Group strives to become the industry leader in delivering the true meaning of hospitality.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts manages one-of-a-kind luxury properties in the world’s most desired destinations. Rosewood properties embrace the company’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, reflecting the history, architecture, scale and sensibilities of the destination.

The Rosewood collection includes some of the most legendary hotels and resorts in the world, including The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York and Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek® in Dallas, Texas, USA.

New World Hotels
New World Hotels are deluxe properties favoured by business travellers and meeting planners, located in Dalian, Shanghai, Wuhan, Ho Chi Minh City and Manila, with an affiliated hotel in Shunde, and opening soon in Beijing and Guiyang.

The hotels offer a full range of relevant amenities and services, including multiple restaurants, business services, extensive meeting facilities, Residence Club executive floors and recreational options. New World Hotels is targeted to more than double its portfolio in five years with a focus on the China and Southeast Asia markets.

Pentahotels
Pentahotels is a design-driven, neighbourhood lifestyle brand providing independent travellers with comfort and style in a contemporary environment.

The brand was launched in Europe and is currently represented by 15 hotels in Europe and Asia, with 12 more properties opening in 2013 and a target of 80 pentahotels in operation globally by 2020. The hallmark of the hotels is pentalounge – a combined lobby, reception, bar and café – designed as a lively gathering place for hotel guests and local patrons alike.
