A new oceanfront retreat by Meliá Hotels & Resorts brings Mediterranean soul, Spanish passion for service and panoramic sea views to one of Vietnam's most beloved coastal destinations.

Meliá Hotels International continues its expansion in Vietnam with the opening of Meliá Aurea Nha Trang, a new upper-upscale oceanfront retreat opened on 12 August 2026 and brings Mediterranean soul, Spanish warm service to one of the country’s most captivating coastal destinations. Set beside its sister property, Gran Meliá’s all‑villa hideaway Villa Le Corail, the new resort from Europe second largest hotel group brings a more accessible expression of the Meliá lifestyle to central Vietnam, complete with the little details that make a stay feel special.

Located just 15 minutes from Nha Trang’s city centre, Meliá Aurea Nha Trang is well connected yet feels secluded thanks to its backdrop of sparkling sea, wide sky and lush mountains. From snorkelling in the Hon Mun Marine Protected Area, with its clear water, tropical fish and coral patches, to exploring the historic Po Nagar Tower built by the ancient Champa civilisation, to relaxed picnics on Hòn Chồng or Hang Heo beaches, the area is ideal for solo travellers, romantic escapes and family adventures.

Oceanfront living with a Mediterranean soul

Balancing contemporary style, comfort and wellbeing, all 207 rooms and suites invite the outdoors in through private balconies, modern open-plan interiors and light‑filled spaces, with most enjoying ocean views. Meliá’s signature The Level experience adds an extra layer of privacy and personalised service, with exclusive lounge access, private check‑in, concierge attention, afternoon tea, all‑day refreshments and premium in‑room amenities.

Dining at Meliá Aurea Nha Trang is expressed through three distinct venues. Ciao Chào, the resort’s signature all‑day restaurant, blends Italian culinary artistry with Vietnam’s rice‑based traditions, bringing both kitchens to life through wood‑fired pizza ovens, home-made pasta, roving chef trolleys and a showcase of fresh Vietnamese seafood. Its expansive open-air terrace adds to the experience, creating an inviting setting to savour the flavours, day to night.

An on‑site herb garden and interiors shaped by local craftsmanship deepen the connection to place, while a curated beverage programme completes the experience. At the heart of the lobby, Boreal is a bright, multicultural gathering place where coffee, cocktails and conversation flow from morning to night, its design inspired by shifting northern lights. By the water, O’LULA Pool Club captures the spirit of summer with a playful yet sophisticated energy, inviting guests to linger between sea breeze, music and light as they enjoy coastal dishes and refreshing drinks.

Wellbeing as a way of life

Imagined as a place where wellbeing becomes part of everyday life, Meliá Aurea Nha Trang offers  access to the beach, scenic coastal walking paths, swimming and snorkelling opportunities, and a fully equipped fitness centre. At YHI Spa, the grounding energy of the earth and the heritage rituals of Champa cocoon guests in serenity as they step into a holistic seaside sanctuary. For families, Kidsdom Club with a dedicated children’s pool and outdoor spaces makes time together feel easy, natural and memorable.

With the opening of Meliá Aurea Nha Trang, Meliá Hotels International continues to consolidate its position as one of the largest international hotel groups in Vietnam, with 22 hotels currently in operation and a further five properties set to open over the next two to three years.

Meliá Aurea Nha Trang is located between Turtle Island and Fairy Mountain. The closest airport, Cam Ranh International Airport, is 48 kilometres away.
