2 of 3 Thai tourism stimulus schemes for 2026 to concentrate on domestic tourism: bringing back the 'Thai Teaw Thai Plus' co-payment scheme, as well as discounts on flight tickets.

Meanwhile, Indonesia records 523 million domestic trips from Jan-May 2026, +3% YoY, with May 2026 +9% YoY.

In visa news, Thailand brings back visa-free entry for Indian travellers, noting that it saw a nearly 20% decline in the number of Indian tourists after the 60-day visa-free entry was revoked.

Taiwan extends its visa-free entry for Filipinos, Thais and Bruneians - but revokes that for Cambodia.
