Southeast Asia sees serious reductions in its China air capacity from 1 May-30 Jun, with Aeroroutes reporting that overall capacity has dropped by 14% vs March filings.

Meanwhile, Thailand also reports over 200 Chinese charter flight cancellations, and Vietnam's outbound sector laments the impact of cancellations of flights to secondary Chinese cities on their bookings.

Singapore reports its Apr 2026 international numbers are 5% down YoY; Cambodia reports a massive 45% YoY drop in its Q1 2026 international arrivals.

Thai Cabinet agrees to revoke the 60-day visa exemption, reverting to 30-day scheme for 54 countries; Tourism Ministry also considering increasing the proposed 300 THB Tourism Tax.
