According to the latest research by B2C и Aven Hospitality, 70% of hotel chains are expected to have implemented chatbots on their websites and mobile apps by the end of the year.

The independent hotels do not have the financial, technological or talent resources to select, train, implement and maintain chatbots on their own.

They have to rely on proactive and smart hotel tech vendors to introduce AI- powered chatbots, which a number of them have already done with remarkable speed.

Ex. genAI-powered hotel-specific chatbots like Asksuite and Quicktext are perfect for hotel websites of independents, midsize and smaller hotel brands, boutique and luxury brands.

Why hoteliers are considering chatbots as essential to enhance the guest experience?

Here are the chatbots features hoteliers consider as essential:

  • 85% think chatbots can help in the booking process to to handle guest inquiries and assist with bookings
  • 82% - Multilingual support for international travelers
  • 71% - Increading direct bookings by enabling reservations directly in the chatbots
  • 66% - In-stay automation of guest requests
  • 66% - Upselling capabilities by providing personalized upgrades and recommendations

The major hotel chains have already implemented highly customised versions of chatbots on their brand sites and mobile apps to handle trip planning and customer service.

Ex. Accor Accor Hotels’ AI Trip Assistant recommends rooms, special offers and makes recommendations for local experiences like ticketed activities, wellness experiences, and food and beverage options. A similar capabilities have the Hilton AI Planner and Marriott’s Ask Bonvoy.
