Swire Hotels is pleased to announce the following management appointments to its regional hotel and operations team in Hong Kong.

Dean Winter has been promoted to the newly created role of Area General Manager, Hong Kong expanding his operational responsibility to include the lifestyle business hotel EAST whilst continuing in his role as General Manager of The Upper House.

Prior to joining Swire Hotels in January 2007 as part of the pre-opening team, Dean Winter was previously Executive Assistant Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong for 5 years from 2001 where he oversaw the renovation and re-opening of the hotel in 2006.

Jennifer Cheung, formerly Director of Sales & Marketing at EAST becomes Hotel Manager, EAST working together with Willem van Emden in the position of Executive Assistant Manager.

In addition, Marcel Thoma, previously Director of Guest Experience at The Upper House now becomes Hotel Manager, The Upper House.
