DoubleTree by Hilton is all set to make its mark in India by opening its first Doubletree by Hilton property in New Delhi-Mayur Vihar.

The newly built 196-guestroom hotel is located within a 20-minute drive of the business district in Noida, including the bustling Sector 62 and Film City in Sector 16. This is the first of five properties planned by Hilton under the DoubleTree brand, an upscale and full service brand, in India.

The property will be owned and operated by Eros Resorts & Hotels, an Eros Group company, and managed by Hilton Worldwide. DoubleTree by Hilton global head Rob Palleschi called the launch of the hotel a 'significant milestone' for the brand.

With this official launch, Hilton Worldwide now manages six hotels under three brands in India. The company plans to more than double its trading estate during 2011.
