The greening of the hotel industry continues to be a hot topic, while most companies are trying to balance being green with being profitable, at Carlson there is no question of such a trade-off.
“For us it isn’t an ‘or’ but an ‘and’” Hubert Joly President and CEO of Carlson (right) said about their sustainability programme at a recent interview with HVS Executive Search.
“Our responsibility is not limited to just delivering great profits to our shareholders. We have a responsibility to all our stakeholders, employees and guests, and also to the communities we operate in and the environment.”
