The Hong Kong Tourism Board’s tourism plan for 2011–2012 aims to give the city an exciting calendar of events to work towards its target of increasing visitor arrivals in 2011 by 10% from last year.
Countries such as India, Russia, and especially Vietnam and the Netherlands have been identified as major emerging markets to the popular tourist destination.
New leisure products such as the Aqua City at Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland’s Toy Story Land are also expected to be heavily marketed to drive visitor arrivals.
