Sunday, 6th February 2011
Source : HVS International

The first capsule hotel in China has made its way to the Shanghai Railway Station.

The hotel follows a popular concept in Japan, providing low budget travellers with cheap accommodation and minimal frills.

The 68-unit Xi Tai Capsule Hotel, which only permits men, provides free lockers, a public lavatory, showers and a smoking room.

Each unit measures 1.1 metres in breadth and height and 2.2 metres in length, and provides a flat-screen television and free wireless Internet service.
