Installation of the customised Internet Radios will begin with selected suites, in The Peninsula New York and The Peninsula Chicago, followed by all guestrooms and suites at The Peninsula Tokyo, which is scheduled to open in 2007.

Reciva Limited, the Internet Radio and Digital Media Player company, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (HSH), owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, to introduce Reciva Internet Radio products into the company's hotels.

"We have been working with Reciva for some time to develop a product that is compact, easy to use and provides our guests with instant access to digital broadband radio broadcasts from around the world without the need for a stand-alone PC ." said Fraser Hickox, HSH's General Manager, Research & Technology. "The Reciva radio complements our existing range of in-room media and entertainment services and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to invest in leading edge technologies that enhance the guest experience."

"This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce Reciva technology to the hotel and leisure industry, especially at deluxe properties catering to an increasingly sophisticated and expanding world traveller community," said Giles Hutchison, Chief Executive Officer of Reciva. "We are delighted that The Peninsula Hotels has chosen to adopt our products and technology."
