ONYX Hospitality Group logoFollowing the success of Shama Hollywood, Shama Fortress Hill and Shama Midlevels, ONYX Hospitality Group further enhances its strategic partnership with Hong Kong property developer Tai Hung Fai Group with the signing of a management agreement for a new Shama serviced apartments property in North Point, Hong Kong.

Located on 310A King’s Road, Shama Island North Hong Kong will feature a total of 121 keys. There will be 29 hotel rooms, located on the 2nd to 4th floors available for short stay, and 92 serviced apartments, located on the 5th floor onwards in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations will be available for longer stays.

All hotel rooms will be contemporarily designed, providing the highest degree of functionality and practicality. For long-stay guests, each uniquely furnished serviced apartment will offer a wide array of amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, customised Shama Slumber bed, high-definition TV with an international selection of channels, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi internet. Some apartments will also have their own private balconies or terraces.

In addition, self-service laundry facilities, located on the 5th floor, will be made available for long-stay guests. Personalised housekeeping service, round-the-clock security and concierge services will also be provided to ensure that guests enjoy an exceptional living experience. Guests staying at Shama Island North will also enjoy Shama’s exclusive “no boundaries” programme, which comprises hood-tours, lifestyle activities and networking events, allowing guests to fast track their social lives and easily fit in with their new locality.

“As part of our expansion plan within the North Asia region, we are excited to step up our strategic partnership with our trusted partner Tai Hung Fai Group, by the introduction of the new Shama Island North, our fourth property together,” said Tommy Lai, Vice President, North Asia, ONYX Hospitality Group. “With Tai Hung Fai Group’s strength in real estate development and our expertise in hospitality management, our collaboration will continue to bring more serviced apartment offerings to guests staying in Hong Kong, and will help further bolster Shama’s leadership position within the industry.”
