JW Marriott debuts in Chengdu.

The new, 345-room five-star luxury hotel offers sweeping views of Chengdu’s newest landmarks, the Sichuan Library and Chengdu Museum, and is centrally located in the hub of the city’s bustling business district, adjacent to Tianfu Square and the famed Kuan & Zhai Alleys.

Featuring 298 rooms, 47 suites, and an elegant executive lounge, the Hotel offers highly choreographed, anticipatory service and an elevated guest experience.  The hotel’s alluring and modern design is inspired by traditional Chinese motifs and craftsmanship, and the intricate latticework throughout the hotel creates a sense of place while the meticulously handcrafted artwork, textured fabrics and warm palette convey a stylish sophistication.

Man Ho is the hotel’s signature Cantonese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine with Sichuan flavors. Inspired by figures in traditional Cantonese Opera, the main dining room features abstract displays of dragons, auspicious clouds and raging waves. For an exclusive dining experience, Man Ho’s five private dining rooms provide intimate havens for business dinners, family gatherings or small events.

Committed to providing enriching culinary experiences, the hotel offers three additional dining options includingTable, a welcoming all-day restaurant features international à la carte dishes as well as a sumptuous buffet;Chengdu Baking Company, featuring sandwiches, desserts and coffee for on-the-go guests, and The Lounge, a stylish venue with inventive cocktails, pre-dinner drinks and a selection of appetizers.

JW Marriott Chengdu offers a range of wellness facilities to strengthen the body and calm the mind including a spa featuring an extensive menu of luxurious treatments, and an indoor heated swimming pool that is open year-round. Guests can work out in comfort in the fully-equipped fitness center featuring endurance-testing machines and free weights.

JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu offers over 1,800 square meters of multi-functional event spaces, each one equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual systems and comprehensive business facilities. The exquisite 966-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom boasts a floor-to-ceiling showcase window and connects to a private rooftop pre-function area with garden. Flexible and functional, the Grand Ballroom can host a reception for 700 guests or a theater-style meeting for 800. Designed for adaptability, the Grand Ballroom can also be transformed into three smaller venues. An additional eight multi-purpose function rooms provide the ideal venue for any event. Whether hosting an intimate social gathering or a large-scale exhibition, the JW Marriott Chengdu’s world-class meeting and event spaces, combined with the associates’ authentic and intuitive levels of service, ensure the success of any occasion.

Marriott International manages this luxurious hotel as part of a long-term relationship with the owning company, Maoye International. This collaboration marks the first of five planned projects in China.
