On board Banyan Velaa, guests are treated to the luxurious surrounds synonymous with Banyan Tree's resort experience.  This sleek Turkish gullet sleeps up to 12 guests in six well-appointed mahogany cabins, all offering stunning ocean views. Aboard, guests can island-hop from one Banyan Tree resort to the next, experiencing the very best of the Maldives along the way.
 
Bespoke journeys can be as long or short as guests wish with Banyan Velaa.  One island-hopping example is a magical adventure travelling from the North Ari Atoll to the North Malé of the Maldives.  Begin with a few days at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, unwind on the island's soft white sands and relax in the surrounding turquoise waters.  The sheltered lagoons around the resort are ideal for snorkelling, interacting with the colourful marine and coral life beneath the surface.  After a busy day by land or water, guests can retreat to Banyan Tree Spa and indulge in one of the world-renowned spa treatments before resting their heads in the elegant surroundings of the resorts stylish pool villas.
 
Aboard Banyan Velaa, the journey moves to Gulhi Lagoon, where guests can spend the day snorkelling and diving amongst the vibrant coral, (Reef Sharks and Eagle Rays are near-guaranteed sightings at the dive sites of Miyaru Kandu and amidst the soft coral reef formations at Dhigu Thila). The yacht can moor in a secluded spot to spend the night before continuing to Guraidhoo Lagoon the following morning.  Here, guests will delight in the natural splendour of the many uninhabited islands in the Guiraidhoo area and seek out their own private desert-island to enjoy a lunchtime picnic.
 
After a relaxing night at sea, guests arrive at Banyan Tree Madivaru, a small, secluded island-sanctuary comprising of just six luxury tented villas, each with their own butler.  During the day guests can enjoy a locally prepared island lunch on the beach, by their private pool or at the nearby desert island of Rasdhoo. As night draws in, a fishing expedition means fresh fish for supper, lovingly prepared by the Resort's chef back on dry land.
 
After a few nights at Banyan Tree Madivaru, the voyage continues on board Banyan Velaa to Fish Head, a unique diving site to spot grey reef sharks.  In the afternoon, guests will be introduced to one of the Maldives' top diving sites at Maaya Thila, renowned for its spectacular coral and underwater life.  The night is spent on board at Ethere Madivaru Lagoon where guests can enjoy the sublime service of the yacht's chef and staff, relaxing with a glass of champagne and a personally-prepared dinner under the stars, surrounded by ocean.
 
Returning to Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru guests will continue to be spoilt for choice when it comes to underwater activity.  From white tip sharks to eagle rays and vibrant coloured fish, there is plenty to discover amongst the island's carefully preserved reefs.  For a truly memorable evening, guests can discover destination dining under the stars with their own private BBQ on the beach or a nearby sandbank, with a chef on hand to ensure their every need is catered to.
