yoo Wollerau, 18 luxury loft-style apartments designed by yoo inspired by Starck, was launched in Zurich, Switzerland.

This is the debut of yoo inspired by Starck in Switzerland, bringing the iconic interior designs to the high end Swiss residential market. yoo, founded by John Hitchox and Philippe Starck, has partnered with Peach Property Group AG, a leading developer of high-quality residential property in the German-speaking Europe. yoo Wollerau offers the best of the best in the stunning location in Wollerau, close to Zurich. yoo inspired by Starck has seen the successful completion of over 20 projects around the world.

Philippe Starck, Creative Director of yoo inspired by Starck, says: “We are very happy to be working with our great friends from Peach Property Group for the first time in Switzerland. Beautiful Wollerau already offers majestic nature and with this I can't compete. We only hope to bring a little more love and happiness to the homes and the lives of the people of ‘yoo Wollerau’.”

Residents can choose from four of Philippe Starck’s idiosyncratic designs created for yoo inspired by Starck; Nature, Classic, Culture and Minimal, ensuring their home is exactly as they wish. The eighteen exceptional luxury apartments all have high ceilings, oversized windows and “canons à lumière”, which ensure that the natural beauty of the area is centre stage. A generously designed outdoor lounge and outdoor pool is set in a beautiful garden so that home owners can enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. A private spa area, including sauna, steam bath and fitness room completes the offering.

The sales volume of the project amounts to roughly CHF 59 million. The 18 loft-style 3½- to 6½-room apartments, with floor space ranging from 110 m2 to 295 m2, will be constructed at a central location in the low-tax community of Wollerau not far from Zurich; ideal for an escape from the city. yoo Wollerau offers singles, couples, and families highly attractive living quarters and a unique opportunity to enjoy world class design, every day.

John Hitchcox, Co-founder of yoo, says: “At yoo, we believe in creating personal sanctuary, and making places where people can come together and feel part of a community. Wollerau is a stunning location, and ideal for an escape from city life, whether it’s for the individual or whole family.

Together with Peach Property Group, we will bring the ‘yoo’ ethos to life with this stunning collection of high end condominiums.”

Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger, CEO of Peach Property Group, adds: “We are thrilled that we can now offer the yoo concept to our Swiss clientele and realise a project in Wollerau that exemplifies our belief in quality. With it, another highly attractive Swiss development project of Peach Property Group is entering the realisation phase.”
yoo Wollerau is the second collaboration between yoo and Peach Property, the first being yoo Berlin, on the shores of the Spree in Berlin-Mitte, which is due for completion at the end of 2013.Yoo Wollerau is set to complete in 2015.
