Rezidor Hotel Group has announced its second hotel for Rwanda, Central Africa.

The Park Inn by Radisson Kigali, which is owned by Hotel Vision Ltd, is due to open in Kigali city centre in the third quarter of 2014.

The group's first hotel in the country, the 292-room Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre Kigali, is scheduled to open in Rwanda's capital a few months earlier in the second quarter of 2014.

 "Africa is a key development market for our group, and our African portfolio now comprises 50 hotels with a total of 11,000 rooms in operation and under development across 21 countries," said Rezidor's president and chief executive officer, Wolfgang Neumann.
