Virgin Hotels has just announced the location of their brand new hotel set to descend upon the big apple. It can now be confirmed that the new hotel will be located on the northwest corner of 29th Street and Broadway.

With over 300 guest rooms, various fine dining experiences, meeting rooms, and a gym - the new Virgin venture is set to open in 2016.

"At long last, the city that never sleeps will get a beautiful and irresistible Virgin Hotel to play, eat, work, mingle, and yes, even to sleep," commented Richard Branson on the new hotel.



CEO of Virgin Hotels, Raul Leal said: "We are delighted to enter the New York market and specifically to play a part in continuing the NoMad neighborhood's growth as a dynamic destination.

"Virgin's 60 million global customers can't get enough of New York City, and we hope to welcome them all with our trademark style, humor, innovation, and friendly customer service."

So where will Virgin Hotels pop up next? Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Washington DC, and London are all rumoured to be locations on the look-out. Can't wait until 2016 for the NY newbie? Virgin Hotels Chicago is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2014 - huzzah!
