25hours Hotels: Every design hotel is a landmark.

You know one, you know none: the 25hours hotels are internationally renowned trendsetters in the design hotel business.

The currently six hotel properties are all designed according to different themes – each of them being a hotel-landmark in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Vienna or Zürich. In 2013 a new top location will be added in Berlin. According to TOPHOTELPROJECTS, the worldwide leading provider of global b2b hotel data, Zürich will see the opening of the second 25hours hotel (TOPHOTELPROJECTS Nr. 7626) in 2016.

Top location in Berlin City West: Forming part of the new building complex „Bikini Berlin“ (TOPHOTELPROJECTS Nr. 6504) nearby the Berlin Memorial Church the first hotel of the 25hours company, with 149 rooms on 7,000 square meters, will open its doors.

The investor of the entire “Bikini Berlin” project is the company “Bayerische Hausbau”. The location between Waldorf Astoria and InterContinental is superb – from the rear side of the building one has a view overlooking the famous Berlin Zoo.

„You know one, you know none“ – this is the guide line under which the 25hours hotel company operates five extraordinary boutique hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - personal individuals in their character, inspired by the respective city. The unique interior design under the slogan „Urban Jungle“ is created by Werner Aisslinger and his design office “Studio Aisslinger”. The top highlight and the upcoming place to be in Berlin is the roof-top-bar on the hotel’s 10th floor.

4Hoteliers Image LibraryIn Zürich an exceptional 25hours style icon was inaugurated in Zürich The Swiss star designer Alfredo Häberli was allowed to let off his creative steam; so he created the new 126 rooms 25hours hotel in Zürich-West.

The Zürich based designer with Argentine roots is known for his creative design for brands such as Alias, Camper, Iittala, Luceplan, Vitra or Moroso and was awarded the “Designer of the Year”  by the magazine „Architecture & Living (German: Architektur & Wohnen“) in 2009.

Alfredo Häberli likes to play with ambiguity when designing a hotel. Following the working title „the smile of my hometown“ this hotel is furnished a multitude of artistic and graphic interventions, taking the hotel guest by the hand and showing him another Zürich – nothing to do with the usual stereotypes of Swiss banks, chocolate and watches. Going on an adventure trip inside the hotel, one can reveal well-kept secrets: Turning your head, changing your viewing-position, taking a glimpse behind the curtains or just observing attentively your guest room, one can explore very inspiring things.

One and half years ago the second 25hours hotel welcomed its first guests in the newly built Hamburg Harbour City. This maritime theme hotel offering 170 rooms and plenty of historical pieces for “flippant storytelling” has well established itself in Hamburg. This property is a member of the Hotel Marketing Network „Design Hotels“ and positioned itself as the typical Hamburg hotel offering a certain sailor atmosphere. Including  luxurious comfort – in the „Club Room“ one can chill in stylish leather sofas and the restaurant-bar concept „Heimat“ offers fine food & beverage from the Hamburg region.
