Laguna Phuket has unveiled a new development plan which will see an expansion and modernisation of the 25-year-old resort.

Located on a beachfront land at Bangtao Bay in the northwest coast of Phuket, the integrated resort complex currently features seven resorts, together with residential villa properties, restaurants, spas, event space and a golf course.

The development plan is in line with a new concept for an integrated complex, which on top of the hotel and residential components, will also feature a waterpark and up to 1,000 shops and restaurants.
