Formerly trading under the MGallery (Accor) brand, this establishment is now being operated as a Sofitel hotel and to ensure coherence with the Sofitel look and feel internationally, the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour will be gradually upgraded to meet the Sofitel’s exacting design standards.

“We are delighted to welcome this new hotel to our network. This new establishment has further reinforced our presence in the Pacific region. The brand’s goal is to be present in all of the world’s major cities, with a target of 150 hotels by 2015” explained Robert Gaymer-Jones, Chairman and CEO of Sofitel Monde.

The first Sofitel in Auckland and the second in New Zealand

Situated near the waterfront in Auckland, the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour enjoys an outstanding location, in the city's leading commercial, restaurant and entertainment precinct.

Inspired by New Zealand's landscape and culture and boasting panaromic views of Waitemata Harbour, this beautifully designed hotel is a true landmark destination. All luxury appointed bedrooms and suites have private balconies, floor to ceiling windows and feature oversized bathrooms with separate rain showers and deep soaking bathtubs

The Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour makes the most of its waterfront location, with its own pontoon for yachts and water taxis. Rooms and public areas offer generous views of the harbour, and the hotel’s café and restaurant which open onto a waterfront esplanade.

Catering to the conference and incentive market, Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour features three meeting rooms including a 195sqm function room, plus a professional Business Centre. Wifi is available throughout the hotel, and a hotel car park for up to 80 cars makes city functions more convenient for guests and delegates.

Sofitel’s luxury day spa offers six treatment rooms with a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments. Guests can also make use of a sauna and steam room, and adjacent gymnasium. A 20-metre indoor lap pool and spa pool are also available.
