Spurred by the success of its earlier properties in Hat Yai and Pattaya, Thailand, the global value hotel chain Tune Hotels announced the opening of its first city hotel in central Bangkok, scheduled for 1 October 2012.

Group CEO of Tune Hotels Mark Lankester regards the opening of Tune Hotel Asoke as a landmark achievement for the company in Thailand in its efforts to become a recognisable, reputable player in one of Asia’s most developed tourism economies.

With thousands of home-grown and international hotel brands spread across the city, it’s everyone’s dream to be part of Bangkok’s thriving tourism industry. With Tune Hotels’ innovative concept and highly competitive pricing, we are confident of providing visitors to Bangkok a world-class accommodation that offers great value and great savings.”

“Our central location on the bustling Sukhumvit Road provides easy accessibility for shopping, entertainment and dining – an ideal location for our savvy travellers. We anticipate a great response from visitors to Bangkok, especially from Asia and Europe, where guests have become accustomed to and are familiar with our brand and concept,” he adds.

Located on Sukhumvit Road, one of Bangkok’s most important business and tourism arteries, Tune Hotel Asoke will have 130 rooms comprising double, twin-sharing and disabled-friendly rooms. Tune Hotel Asoke is the global brand’s third property in Thailand and the first in central Bangkok, the city that represents a perfect blend of modern life and a well-preserved cultural heritage.

To celebrate the opening, rooms at Tune Hotels Asoke, Bangkok are now open for booking from as low as 100 Baht per night for stays from 1 October 2012 up to 31 May 2013. This pre-opening promo kicks off today, 2 July 2012 until 11 July 2012, and is available exclusively on www.tunehotels.com. The offer is on a first come, first served basis and subject to room availability.

Tune Hotels has successfully pioneered a branded value hotel brand with the concept of pay-as-you-use that has become hugely popular amongst travellers from across the world. Under the concept, guests only pay for room rates with the option of adding on other amenities like towels and toiletries, air-conditioning, in-room Wifi and satellite TV entertainment.

Tune Hotels is part of Tune Group, a lifestyle business conglomerate co-founded by Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Dato’ Kamarudin Meranun, who are the Group CEO and Deputy Group CEO respectively of Asia’s largest low cost carrier AirAsia.
