To the FIFA World Cup from June 12 to 13 July 2014, Brazil expects around 600,000 international visitors.
For the hotel industry, the sports event is a blessing: Many accomodations feel increased demand already for the mentioned period.
Visitors of the soccer World Cup in Brazil have to hurry in some venues the hotel search. "Rio de Janeiro is already fully reserved" says Marcelo Pedroso Brazilian Tourist Board Embratur.
Currently there are heavy investments at the airports. São Paolo receives just a third Terminal. It is to be inaugurated in may 2014. Also the other terminals will be renovated. Located in Campinas, about 90 kilometers from São Paolo, the old terminal will be replaced by a new. And Brasilia as well is building a new Terminal.
