Why We Love It: When you put a hot-fudge sundae in the hands of Sam Mason, the result is both innovative and complex. The former wd~50 pastry whiz teamed up with Mast Brothers Chocolate to take the scoop-shop favorite to whole new heights by incorporating the duo's bean-to-bar cacao into nearly every component.

Served in a retro glass dish, the over-the-top sundae features three scoops of creamy chocolate chunk ice cream, fluffy cocoa whipped cream and chocolate cake, plus drizzles of hot fudge and salted caramel.

Mason does away with the stale sprinkles and Day-Glo maraschino cherry, instead adding crisp chocolate pearls and a bed of chocolate-almond flour crumble for crunch.
