THE AMERICAS

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Allen Smith President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Kathleen Taylor who departed the company in February. Smith has served as Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Real Estate Investors since 2008, a company he joined in 1987. Smith earned both his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Masters from Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. His successor at PREI will be Eric Alder.

Wilson Associates has appointed Olivier Chavy Chief Executive Officer. Chavy had previously served as International Head, Global Brand Performance of Luxury and Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide. He was the Senior Vice President Resort Operations for Hilton Grand Vacations. Prior to joining Hilton in 2000 as General Manager of the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, he had been with France's Groupe Lucien Barrière for twelve years.

Mike DeFrino has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group. DeFrino has been with the company for sixteen years and takes over the post left vacant by Niki Leondakis, who left to head Commune Hotels & Resorts. DeFrino was most recently the Executive Vice President of Hotel Operations.

Rajiv Malhotra has been appointed General Manager at the Four Seasons Atlanta, taking over from Dan Normandin, now General Manager of the Four Seasons Miami. The Cornell graduate was most recently the General Manager at the Four Seasons Bora Bora. He had previously served the Four Seasons Las Vegas twice as Hotel Manager and is the former Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Great Exuma.

Martein Van Wagenberg is now on St. Barthelemy as Managing Director for Guanahani, taking the spot left vacant by Marc Thézé who has returned to France. For the past nine years, Van Wagenberg had been with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, most recently as General Manager at Las Ventanas al Paraíso. He is the former General Manager at Little Dix Bay and Grace Bay Club.

Simon Chen returns to the mountains to take over as General Manager at Aspen's Little Nell. He was most recently in Southern California overseeing the Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa after serving as General Manager of the Peaks Resort and Spa in Telluride. He is the former General Manager at the Beaver Creek Lodge, and the El Monte Sagrado in Taos. At the Little Nell, Chen takes over from John Speers, now with the Faena Group in Miami.

Richard Bussière is the new Managing Director at the Langham Boston. He comes straight from China where he was the opening General Manager of the Westin Chongqing Liberation Center. Bussière spent 33 years with Starwood. In Boston, he takes over from Serge Denis, who remains with Langham as Director of Special Projects, Americas.

Cate Farmer has been named the General Manager of the soon-to-open Mondrian at Baha Mar. Farmer had previously served as Hotel Manager at the Mondrian South Beach and, most recently, as General Manager at the Ames in Boston.

Martin Kipping has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Viceroy Zihuatanejo. He was most recently the Resort Manager and Director of Food and Beverage with the Viceroy Anguilla. He had previously held food and beverage management posts with the Four Seasons Las Vegas and the Four Seasons Nevis.

Twin Farms in Vermont has appointed John Graham Managing Partner. He was most recently the General Manager of the Lake Placid Lodge. Graham is the former General Manager at the Point, the Willcox and the Sherman House in San Francisco.

The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa has appointed Glenn Sampert General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort and Casino.

Joe Hindsley has been named General Manager of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. He was most recently at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta as General Manager.

Peter McMahon takes over from Hindsley as General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Since 2010, he had served as General Manager of the Hyatt Regency San Antonio and the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. He is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Savannah and the Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta Northwest.

Marcus Nicolaidis has joined the Marlton Hotel in New York as General Manager. He was most recently in Miami as Director of Food and Beverage for Soho Beach House. Nicolaidis is also a former General Manager of the House of Blues in West Hollywood and Houston.

Jason Dibler has moved over to the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles as opening General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs. Dibler also spent eight years with HotelsAB at the Standard Hollywood.

Mike Shaff has been named Vice President and General Manager for the Montelucia Resort & Spa in Phoenix. He was most recently the Director of Operations at La Costa Resort and Spa and is the former Director of Rooms at La Quinta Resort & Club.

Scott Blalock has been named General Manager for the JW Marriott Austin, slated to open in March 2015. He is the former Vice President and General Manager of the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

Peter Bowen has moved over to the Oaks at Ojai as General Manager. For the past sixteen years, he had been with the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing.

George Iannacone has been named General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland. He most recently served as Regional Director of Operations for the Gateway Hospitality Group and General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center in Cleveland.

Connie Dorsey has been appointed General Manager at the Broadmoor's Ranch at Emerald Valley in Colorado. Most recently, Dorsey served as General Manager of the C Lazy U Ranch in Colorado.

David Craig takes over from Dorsey as General Manager at the C Lazy U Ranch. He is a former Vice President for Inspirato and General Manager at the Hotel Teatro.

The Hyatt at The Bellevue Philadelphia has appointed Nassy Saidian General Manager. He has been with the company for over 30 years, most recently as General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Rochester. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager for the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

Sundy House in Florida has named Marco Schlenz General Manager. Schlenz, a CIA graduate, was most recently Director of Club Operations at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton.

Greg Saunders has been appointed Managing Director at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, scheduled to open in December 2014. He is the former Managing Director at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront and the Grand Hyatt Las Vegas.

Howard Jacobs has been appointed General Manager at the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa in Kirkland. He is the former General Manager of the Alexis Hotel in Seattle and the Hotel Andaluz.

Marco Perry has joined the Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs as General Manager. For the past five years, he had served as General Manager at the Shorebreak in Huntington Beach. He had previously overseen the Hotel Angeleno in Los Angeles and Heritage House in Mendocino.

Joseph Ojeda has been named Director of Operations for Citrus Hospitality Management in Los Angeles. He was most recently serving as Director of Brands, Asia de Cuba with China Grill Management.

Michael Carsch has been named Managing Director for the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. He is the former General Manager of the Sax Chicago, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the Thompson Beverly Hills.

Trey Matheu is the new General Manager at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg slated to open this month. He is the former General Manager at the Ocean Beach Club and Big Cedar Lodge.

Gordon Humbert has been appointed General Manager at the Hilton Omaha. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hilton Rosemont Chicago O'Hare.

Tom Hazay has joined the Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis as General Manager. He was most recently the Assistant General Manager at the Nines, a property also managed by Sage Hospitality. He is the former Director of Rooms for the St. Regis Atlanta and Front Office Manager with the St. Regis Washington, D.C.

Ricardo Ramirez has been named Senior Vice President of Hospitality, overseeing the Downtown Grand, slated to open this fall in Las Vegas. He was most recently with the Hacienda Cabo San Lucas as General Manager. He had previously served twelve years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, overseeing rooms division for the Four Seasons Las Vegas, the Four Seasons Westlake Village and the Four Seasons Costa Rica.

Robert Peckenpaugh has been named General Manager at the Omni San Francisco. He was most recently with Mammoth Mountain as Vice President, Hospitality. He is the former General Manager at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Jordan Vasiloff has been promoted to General Manager at the Lake Placid Lodge. He joined the resort last year as Assistant General Manager. He is the former Front of House Manager for the Lodge at Sea Island.

Paul Ohm is now in Milwaukee as General Manager for the Pfister Hotel. For the past five years, he had served as General Manager at the Fairmont Newport Beach. He is the former Director of Operations at the Fairmont Washington, D.C. and Director of Food and Beverage for the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui.

Jacques Brouchier has joined Cotton House on Mustique as General Manager. He is the former General Manager at the Coral Sands Resort and Pink Sands Resort.

Jean-Paul Nel has been named General Manager of Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort. He has been with Marriott for over 30 years, most recently as Area Vice President for the UK North region.

Tiffiany Holmes has been named Hotel Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Aruba scheduled to open later this year. She was most recently the Director of Operations at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.

Jean-Francois Tremblay has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC. Tremblay was most recently the Hotel Manager for the Gansevoort Turks + Caicos.

Wil Lee has joined the W Scottsdale as Director of Operations. He was most recently in the same position at the W Washington, D.C. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at Caesars Atlantic City.

Alan Feldman has been named Executive Vice President, Global Government and Industry Affairs, at MGM Resorts International. He had joined the company in 1990 as Vice President of Public Relations.

Thomas DeLouise has been named Director of Food and Beverage Operations, the Americas, for the InterContinental Hotel Group. He is the former Corporate Director of Operations at RockResorts and Vail Resorts Hospitality.

Lausanne educated Georgette Farkas, who had been the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Daniel Boulud's Dinex Group for nearly two decades, will leave the company at the end of August to open her own restaurant. Her Upper East Side Rotisserie will have David Malbequi as its Chef. Malbequi, who had been the opening Chef at La Silouhette, also served as Chef de Cuisine at The Standard and at BLT Market. He too is a former Daniel staffer.

Paul Carter has joined the Beverly Hilton as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with Starwood Hotels & Resorts as Corporate Director of Culinary Operations, North American Food and Beverage. He is a former Executive Chef at the Phoenician Resort.

Hani Roustom has moved to the Shangri-La Toronto as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently the General Manager for Café Boulud and dbar in the Four Seasons Toronto.

Michel Mroue has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Quin in New York. He had previously served in food and beverage management positions for the Hilton Woodcliff Lake and the New York Palace Hotel.

Andrew Litherland has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. He was most recently serving the hotel as Executive Chef.

Kevin O'Brien has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Andaz San Diego. He is the former Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino and Food and Beverage Manager for the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Mark Bronke has joined the Santa Barbara Resort in Curaçao as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position for the Loews Don Cesar Hotel. Bronke is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Robert Clarke has joined the Stowe Mountain Lodge as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Clarke is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Belterra Casino Resort and Spa.

The Omni Mount Washington Resort has named Fared Subhani Director of Food and Beverage, taking over from Clarke. Subhani was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, Golf Resort, Spa & Marina.

Stéphane Coutouly has joined the InterContinental San Francisco as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had been with the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort in Monaco as Director of Food and Beverage. He is a former Director of Food and Beverage for Norwegian Cruise Line.

Gustavo Gelover has joined the Eden Roc Miami as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the St. Regis Bahia Beach and the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.

Matthew McCahill has moved over to the Godfrey Hotel in Chicago as Director of Food and Beverage. Most recently, he was at the Dana Hotel & Spa as Director of Food and Beverage.

Virgin Hotels has appointed Clio Knowles Vice President of People. She previously spent ten years with Kerzner International, starting as Global Human Resources Coordinator, ending as Vice President, Global Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits.

Alice Brennan has joined the Lost Tree Club in Florida as Director of Human Resources. She was most recently in a similar role for Ocean House in Rhode Island. She is the former Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center and Residensea Resorts.

Linda Stigter has joined the Line Hotel in Los Angeles as Director of Human Resources.  She had previously served in human resources posts with the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas, the Four Seasons Nevis and the Four Seasons Vancouver.  

Peter Serena has joined Towne Park in Annapolis as Vice President of the Southeast Region, Diversified Markets. Serena was most recently the General Manager of the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

Don Schreifels has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing of the Four Seasons New York. He was most recently opening the Four Seasons Toronto as Director of Marketing. Schreifels has been with the company for over 25 years, serving in sales and marketing posts for the Four Seasons Bora Bora, the Four Seasons Palm Beach, the Four Seasons Newport Beach and the Four Seasons Nevis.

The Four Seasons Toronto has named Peggy Thompson Director of Marketing, replacing Schreifels. Thompson has been with the company since 1982 holding sales and catering roles with the (former) Four Seasons Inn on the Park, the (former) Four Seasons Ottawa, the Four Seasons Vancouver, the (former) Four Seasons Olympic Seattle and, for the past ten years, the Four Seasons Austin.

The Four Seasons Palo Alto has appointed Norma Textor-Wong Director of Marketing. She had been Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Hualalai since 2006 and is the former Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Vancouver.

Maureen O'Brien has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin New York Grand Central Hotel. She is the former Area Director of Sales and Marketing at the Millennium Broadway and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Raffles Hotels and Resorts.

The Leading Hotels of the World has appointed Shannon Knapp Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, taking over from Claudia Kozma who is now with Gucci. Most recently, Knapp served as Vice President of Marketing for American Express Travel & Lifestyle Services.

Sarah Lechevalier has moved over to Kempinski Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Group Sales, based in New York. She was most recently in the same position for the Rocco Forte Collection. Lechevalier is a former Director of Sales, the Americas, with Leading Hotels of the World.

The Viceroy Miami has appointed Fred Khoury Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently in Chicago, serving as opening Director of Sales and Marketing for the Radisson Blu Hotel. He is the former Director of Sales at the Hard Rock Chicago and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Park Hyatt Chicago.

Brian Morris has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.

The Setai Miami Beach has promoted Iván Bauzá to Director of Sales. He was most recently serving the resort as Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the Setai in 2010, Bauza spent over four years with Leading Hotels of the World.

Carolynn Hemmerich has been appointed Director of Sales at the St. Regis Punta Mita. Since 2002, she had been with the Los Angeles based sales office for Las Ventanas al Paraíso, most recently as Associate Director of Sales.

The CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa has appointed Eliane Barradas as Director of Sales. For the past three years, she held the post of Associate Director of Sales at the St. Regis Mexico City.

Ragini Stearns has been named Director of Sales for the Naples Bay Resort. She was previously a Senior Sales Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

Sherri Ferns has been named Director of Sales at the Exeter Inn in New Hampshire. She most recently served as Director of Sales at the Common Man family of restaurants, Concord.

Leigh Ann Waters has been appointed Corporate Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Interstate Hotels & Resorts in Arlington. Waters is the former Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for Resource Hospitality and the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North.

Alisha Waid has been appointed Executive Director of National Accounts for the Mid-Atlantic region at Loews Hotels & Resorts in New York. Most recently she was the Vice President of Sales for Associated Luxury Hotels International.

Patty Metcalf-Sobczak has been appointed Executive Director of National Accounts for the Southeast region at Loews Hotels & Resorts in New York. She has been with the company since 2007 and is the former Director of National Accounts for the Loews Don Cesar Hotel.

Felix Llibre has joined the Fontainebleau Miami Beach as Director of National Accounts. He was most recently a Senior Account Executive at the Marriott Global Sales office in Miami.

Destination Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kathie Giles Director of National Sales for the Southwest market. She was most recently with Marriott International as Senior Account Executive/Global Sales for the Southwest region.

The St. Regis San Francisco has appointed Gena Chen Director of Catering and Event Management. Most recently, she served as Director of Catering and Conference Services at sister Starwood property the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. She is the former Director of Conference Services at the St. Regis New York.

Douglas Klein has been appointed Director of Event Management for the Washington Marriott Marquis, slated to open May 2014. He was most recently the Director of Event Management at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa.

The St. Regis Aspen has named David Viviano Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef at the Westin Phoenix Downtown

There is a new Executive Chef/Culinary Director at New York's Plaza and it is Geoffrey Zakarian. The list of shooting stars before him includes Alain Sailhac (during the Trump ownership). The two longest tenures went to Joseph Trombetti, who held the gig for 19 years and his successor Bruno Tison, who was 30 when he got the job in 1989 and kept it for 15 years. 

Cupertino Ortiz has joined Mukul Resort in Nicaragua as Executive Chef. He was most recently on St. Lucia at Viceroy's Sugar Beach Residences (previously the Jalousie Plantation) as Executive Chef/Acting Director of Food and Beverage. Ortiz is the former Executive Chef for the Tides Riviera Maya and Executive Sous Chef for the One&Only Palmilla and Las Ventanas al Paraíso.

Julio Delgado takes over from Andrew Litherland as Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.

The Greenbrier has promoted Bryan Skelding to Executive Chef. Since 2009 he has served the resort as Executive Sous Chef.

The Chattanoogan has promoted Adam Roe to Executive Chef. He rejoined the property in 2009 as Executive Sous Chef. He had previously served as Sous Chef from 2005-07 for the hotel before taking on a similar role at the Bedford Springs Resort and Spa.

Robert Aikens is now in New York as Chef at the Williams in the Murray Hill section of New York City. He was most recently in Philadelphia as Chef at Stephen Starr's Dandelion.

Christian Schmidt is now in Las Vegas at the Mirage as Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef at Terranea Resort, a property he opened and where he stayed for over four years. Previous stints included Ginn Reunion Resorts, the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C., the Plaza New York, the Mandarin Oriental New York and the Mandarin Oriental Miami.

Robert Mitchell has been appointed Executive Chef at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead. For the past six years, he had been with the New Orleans Marriott in various culinary roles, most recently as Executive Chef.

Suncadia near Seattle has named Casey McManus Executive Chef. Most recently, McManus was District Chef at Microsoft's Eurest Dining Services in Redmond. He has also worked in a number of culinary roles in Seattle including positions as Executive Chef and General Manager for the BluWater Bistro, Sous Chef at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and culinary roles at the (former) Four Seasons Olympic Hotel.

Dantón Valle has been named Executive Chef for the Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa in Mexico City. He was most recently in a similar position at the Fairmont Mayakoba.

Daniel Boulud has hired Ghaya Oliveira to be the Executive Pastry Chef at Daniel. She replaces Sandro Micheli, who announced plans to move to France earlier this year. Oliveira comes from Bar Boulud and Boulud Sud.

Vincent Pilon has moved over to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas as Executive Pastry Chef. He was most recently in the same position at Mandalay Bay. He is the former Assistant Pastry Chef at the Bellagio.

Adam Crocini is back in the US, taking over as General Manager at Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air. For the past three years, he had been in Singapore, overseeing CUT in the Marina Bay Sands. He had previously overseen Wolfgang Puck's The Source in Washington, D.C., Spago Maui and the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Dan Pilkey has moved to the Trump Chicago as Restaurant General Manager at Sixteen. He was most recently at Alpana Singh's Boarding House as Sommelier and Manager. Pilkey had previously held similar roles at the Elysian, RIA at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and the Addison in San Diego.

Stéphane Colling is the new General Manager for Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at San Ysidro Ranch. He is the former General Manager at Bar Boulud New York and had previously served in similar roles for L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at the Four Seasons New York and the Modern at MOMA.

The Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas has appointed Jerome Astolfi as General Manager at Twist by Pierre Gagnaire. Astolfi was most recently the Restaurant General Manager at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Maxime Cormier has been named Spa Director at Las Ventanas al Paraíso. Cormier was most recently in the same post for Orient-Express at the Maroma Resort & Spa Playa del Carmen.

The Salamander Resort & Spa has appointed Penny Kriel Spa Director. For the past seven years, she had served as Spa Director at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. 

EUROPE

Even Frydenberg has been appointed Senior Vice President, Western Europe and Global Initiatives, at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Brussels. He has been with the company for over 20 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of Operations and Global Initiatives for Europe, Africa & the Middle East.

Stefan Soennichsen has left One Aldwych after five years to become the Area General Manager for the Morgans Hotel Group in London, based at St. Martin's Lane. Soennichsen is a former Hotel Manager from the Savoy.

One Aldwych has appointed Kostas Sfaltos General Manager to take over from Soennichsen. Sfaltos was most recently with the Hotel Café Royal as Hotel Manager. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of the Dorchester, and spent more than ten years at the InterContinental London Park Lane in various roles.

Facira Mercenier will be joining La Réserve (Trocadéro) in Paris as General Manager. Mercenier was most recently with the Castille Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. Previous experience includes Le Crillon and Hôtel Plaza Athénée Paris, Hotel Warwick and Le Groupe Concorde.

Patrick Carabin is now the General Manager at the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria, replacing Jean-Michel Lathuilliere. Carabin was most recently overseeing the Sofitel Grand Sopot, also in Poland.

Yannick Busaan has moved as General Manager to the Hotel Vernet in Paris. He was most recently the Executive Director at the Hotel Duo Paris. He is the former General Manager at the Grand Hotel du Parc.

Benno Geruschkat has been named General Manager at the Grand Hyatt Berlin taking over from Fred Hürst. Geruschkat was most recently overseeing the Grand Hyatt Amman and serving as Area Director for Egypt and Jordan.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, St. Gallen has named Andreas Stöckli General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Radisson Blu Frankfurt.

Helge Luetters takes over from Andreas Stöckli as General Manager for the Radisson Blu Frankfurt. He was most recently the Deputy General Manager at the Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager at the Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel Düsseldorf.

Jorge Manzur has moved as General Manager to the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella. He was most recently the General Manager for the Melia Marbella Banus.

David Mohren has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Opera Hotel Kiev. He was most recently overseeing the Park Inn by Radisson Donetsk in the Ukraine. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager at the Park Inn by Radisson Pribaltiyskaya and General Manager of the Park Inn by Radisson Ekaterinburg.

PH Hotels' the George Hotel in Edinburgh has promoted Douglas Campbell to Hotel Manager. For the past four years, he had served as Director of Regional Sales for the PH Hotel Group.

Björn Volz has joined the Schloss Reinhartshausen Kempinski Frankfurt as General Manager. He is the former Sales and Marketing Director at the Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch in Frankfurt and Senior Sales Manager at the Kempinski Westin Bellevue Dresden.

Richard Engelmayer has been promoted to General Manager at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt, taking over from Alfred Küpper who is retiring. Engelmayer has been with the hotel since 1999, most recently as Deputy Director.

Pierre Boisselier has been promoted to Director of Treasury, Financing and Credit Management at Accor in Paris, taking over from Dominique Expert who left Accor in June. Boisselier had joined Accor last December as Deputy Director of Treasury, Financing and Credit Management. He is the former International Treasurer at Publicis.

Cornell hotelman Todd Shallan has joined KSL Capital Partners in London as Director of Asset Management. He was most recently overseeing the Hotel del Coronado. He is the former Managing Director of the Claremont Resort and Spa and Resort Manager at the Arizona Biltmore, all current or former KSL assets.

The Four Seasons Moscow has named Tiago Castro pre-opening Food and Beverage Director. He had previously held similar roles opening the Four Seasons Geneva and the Four Seasons Marrakesh.

Tomas Vlasek has been named Director of Food and Beverage and Entertainment at London's Café Royal Hotel. For the past year, he had been at the Four Seasons Philadelphia as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Nevis.

Gregory Philippe has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Sofitel So Bangkok and the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich.

Pauline Bergé has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Vienna. For the past two years, she had been the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hotel Metropole, Monte Carlo. She had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma in Marrakech and Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat.

Loic Frésard is now in Geneva at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel du Rhône as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently with the Hotel Majestic Barriere in Cannes as Director of International Sales.

Nicholas Granger is now overseeing sales for the Oetker Collection's Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, the Chateau Saint Martin & Spa and the Apogée Courchevel. For the past seven years, he had served as Director of Sales for the Grand Hotel in Cannes.

Melissa Raffaelli has been promoted to Director of Sales at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh. She has been with the hotel since 2002 in various posts, most recently as Assistant Director of Sales.

Verena Diehl has moved to the InterContinental Berlin as Director of Group and Event Sales. She was most recently at the Hotel Berlin as Director Conference and Event Sales.

Fiona Harris has been appointed to the newly created role of Director of International Public Relations at Corinthia Hotels in London. She was most recently the Director of Public Relations and Brand Development for Kuoni Travel.

The Lodge at Doonbeg in County Clare, Ireland has appointed Heiko Riebandt Executive Chef.  He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel in Kenmare, County Kerry.

Emmanuele Selvaggi has been named Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons London at Canary Wharf. Selvaggi was most recently with the Four Seasons Prague as Front Office Manager and had held similar positions for the Four Seasons Boston, the Four Seasons Geneva and the Four Seasons Doha.

Thomas Carreras has been named Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons London at Park Lane. He was most recently the Director of Rooms for the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Peter Finamore has joined MGM, based in Macau, as Senior Vice President Operations. He is the former Senior Vice President of Operations for Regent Hotels & Resorts and had previously served as Managing Director for Rosewood Hotels at the Al Faisaliah and the Al Khozama Hotel.

Michel Volk takes over from Rajiv Malhotra as General Manager of the Four Seasons Bora Bora. He has been with the company since 1996, most recently as Hotel Manager for the Four Seasons Boston. He is the former Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Vail and Camp Manager at the Four Seasons Tented Camp at the Golden Triangle.

The Kahala Hotel & Resort has promoted Carmine Iommazzo to General Manager. He had previously held the title of Director of Food and Beverage at Kahala before moving to the Makena Beach & Golf Resort, most recently serving as General Manager. Iommazzo replaces Roseann Grippo.

Ryan Fitzgerald has returned to the Kahala Hotel & Resort to take on the new role of Hotel Manager. He had previously served the resort as Director of Rooms. He is the former Hotel Manager for the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Resort.

Ashish Kumar Rai has been named General Manager of the Leela Mumbai. He was most recently the General Manager of the Umaid Bhawan Palace and had previously served as Resident Manager for the Taj Lands End in Mumbai.

Vincent Ramos is the new General Manager for the Umaid Bhawan Palace. He is the former General Manager at the Taj Malabar Cochin and the Taj Kumarakom, Kerala.

Louis Sailer, currently the General Manager of the Café Royal Hotel in London and formerly of the Mayfair Hotel, will become the General Manager of the Leela Palace in New Delhi as of October.

Susan Noonan has joined the Amano'i at Vinh Hy Bay Vietnam as General Manager. She is the former opening General Manager for the Six Senses Con Dao.

Matthew Taverner has been appointed General Manager for qualia on Hamilton Island. He is the former General Manager at the Hong Kong Country Club and the Como Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri.

Tash Tobias has been appointed General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park and Area General Manager, Bangkok, for the InterContinental Hotel Group. Tobias is the former General Manager of the InterContinental Singapore and Hotel Manager of the InterContinental Asiana Saigon.

The Conrad Koh Samui has appointed Stefano Ruzza General Manager. Ruzza was most recently in South Korea at the Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort as General Manager. He is the former Director of Operations at the Hilton Colombo in Sri Lanka.

David Daguise is now in Myanmar as opening General Manager of the MGallery Nay Pyi Taw. For the past year, he had served as General Manager at BHMAsia and is the former Resident Manager of the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra.

Gerhard Aicher has been appointed General Manager at the Mira Hong Kong. He is the former General Manager at Le Méridien Cyberport in Hong Kong.

Janet McNab has been named Area General Manager, South Thailand and General Manager at the Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa in Phuket. She is the former General Manager at the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, Sukhumvit and Le Méridien Nirwana Resort & Spa.

Richard Schestak has moved as General Manager to Raffles Jakarta. He was most recently the General Manager at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh. He is the former Director of Operations at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.

Pieter van der Hoeven takes over from Richard Schestak as General Manager of Raffles Le Royal, Phnom Penh. He was most recently with Outrigger as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific.

Killian Donoghue has been appointed General Manager at the Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa. He was most recently in Amsterdam with Marriott International.

Andy Kunz has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Chedi Chiang Mai. He was most recently with the Chedi Muscat as Executive Assistant Manager. Kunz is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Four Seasons Amman and Assistant Food and Beverage Director for the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh.

Britta Leick-Milde has been named General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata. She is the former Executive Assistant Manager Rooms at the Park Hyatt Dubai.

Noel D'Couto is headed to China as Hotel Manager for the Shangri-La Dalian. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the St. Regis Princeville. D'Couto is the former Executive Assistant Manager Rooms for the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa.

Alberto Pirozzini is now in Kauai, having taken over as Director of Operations at the St. Regis Princeville for D'Couto. He was most recently in the same position for the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club St. Thomas. Pirozzini is the former General Manager for the Hotel Savoy Firenze and the SalvatoreFerragamo Lungarno Hotel.

Hugo Montanari has been appointed Director of Operations at the Ritz-Carlton Bangalore. He had previously served in front office positions with the Plaza New York and the Fairmont Dubai.

Stephen Gould has moved to the Conrad Bangkok as Director of Operations. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager at the Sofitel So Bangkok.

Ross Buchanan moves into the new role of Executive Assistant Manager at the Swissôtel Sydney. He was most recently serving the hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Clement Paul has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at the Hotel Istana in Kuala Lumpur. He was most recently overseeing the rooms division at the Andaman in Langkawi.

Bryan Chiu has moved over at the InterContinental Hong Kong to Executive Assistant Manager. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage for the hotel. He is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Hong Kong.

Christoph Travniczek has joined the InterContinental Hong Kong as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage, taking over from Chiu. He was most recently in the same role for the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen.

Frank Schuetzendorf has joined the Ducasse Group as Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Asia/Middle East. He was most recently the Director of Operations for the Klaret Group in London and is the former Hotel Manager at Seehotel-Ueberfahrt, and Director of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Kowloon Hong Kong.

Nilesh Singh has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Bangalore. He was most recently the Food and Beverage Manager for the Oberoi Bangalore.

Karan Jain has joined the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Oman and the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain.

Steven Carl has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa and the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas and Spa.

Martin Yeo has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Swissôtel Sydney. He was most recently the Food and Beverage Manager at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.

Amber Marie Beard has been appointed Vice President Sustainability at Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas in Bangkok. She is the former Head of Sustainability with Sustainability Ltd.

Smriti Khandelwal has moved to the Four Seasons Mumbai as Director of Marketing, taking over from Sanjeev Shukla who is now at the Four Seasons Moscow. Khandelwal was most recently at the Taj Mahal Palace as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi.

Prerna Pant has been appointed Director of Marketing and Communications at the Sofitel So Singapore. She was most recently the Senior Digital Strategist for social@Ogilvy in Singapore.

The Mauna Kea Resort has named Laura Van Winkle-Mascari as Regional Director of Group Sales. She was most recently with the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay as a Senior Sales Manager.

May Chow has been appointed Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality in Beijing. She was most recently the office General Manager of China Holiday Tours in Beijing.

Keita Sekine has been appointed Regional Director of Sales and Marketing - Japan at Dusit International. She was most recently the Director of Sales with Mandarin Oriental Tokyo.

Shuichi Ueda has been appointed Director of Sales ­ Japan at Dusit International. He was most recently with the Dusit Thani Manila as Assistant Director of Sales.

Angela Chu has joined the InterContinental Hong Kong as Director of Revenue Management. Previously she was Director of Revenue Management at the W Hong Kong.

Brian Lynx is now at the Hawaii Tourism Authority in Honolulu as Vice President, Meetings, Conventions and Incentives. For the past five years, he had been with the Hilton Grand Wailea Resort on Maui as Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Westin Moana Surf Rider.

The Four Seasons Bora Bora has named Frédéric Angevin Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Four Seasons Dallas as Executive Sous Chef.

The Four Seasons Shenzhen has appointed Michael Poutawa pre-opening Executive Chef.  He is the former Executive Chef at the Grand Hyatt Doha.

Prapat Kaewwannee has joined the Four Seasons Chiang Mai as Executive Chef, taking over from Rewat Srilachai. Kaewwannee was most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef at the LeMéridien Chiang Mai.

Thomas Angerer has been named Executive Chef for the Park Hyatt Tokyo. He was most recently in the same position with the Hyatt Regency Chennai.

Kamal Silva has been named Executive Chef at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Singapore. He is the former Executive Chef at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Frank Ruidavet has joined the St. Regis Bali and Laguna Beach Resort as Director of Culinary. He was previously with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for 18 years, most recently as Executive Chef for the Four Seasons Amman since 2007. Ruidavet is the former Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan, the Four Seasons Maldives at Kudaa Huraa and the Four Seasons Singapore.

Anne-Cécile Degenne is now heading the pre-opening kitchen at the Sofitel So Singapore slated to open in December. She was previously the Western Executive Chef for Spiral in the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Philippe Cassis has been appointed Executive Officer Designate at Sun Resorts, with plans in January to move into the role of Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Fabio Piccirillo. Cassis was most recently in Brazil as Senior Vice President, Operations & Global Initiatives for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Latin America.

The Four Seasons Marrakech has named Felix Murillo General Manager, taking over from Jean-Claude Wietzel. He was most recently the General Manager of the Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet. He has been with the company since 1993 and is the former Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Mexico City and the Four Seasons Buenos Aires.

Sébastien Carre takes on his new role as General Manager of the Four Seasons Westcliff Johannesburg, slated to reopen under the Four Seasons flag early 2014. He was most recently the General Manager at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh. Carre is the former opening General Manager for the Four Seasons Bora Bora, and previously served as Resort Manager at the (former) Four Seasons Terre Blanche.

Maria Jagla has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, taking over for Carre. For the past year, she had been the Hotel Manager for the Four Seasons London at Park Lane. She is the former Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Maui and Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Chicago.

Pierre Jochem has been appointed General Manager at La Mamounia in Marrakech, taking over from Didier Picquot. Jochem was most recently the General Manager of Raffles Singapore as well as the Regional Vice-President Operations Asia Pacific at Raffles Hotels & Resorts.

Bugra Berberoglu has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Regional Operations for India, Middle East & Africa at Kempinski Hotels. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. He is the former General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and the Djibouti Palace Kempinski.

Holger Schroth has returned to the Middle East to take over from Berberoglu at the Emirates Palace as General Manager. Schroth had previously served as General Manager of the Kempinski Mall of the Emirates before taking on the role of General Manager at the Siam Kempinski Bangkok.

Shadi Suleman has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Doha. He is the former Director of Rooms for the hotel.

Stephan Vanden Auweele has joined the Dubai Sheraton Creek as General Manager. He is the former General Manager for the Aloftin Abu Dhabi.

Michel Nader takes over as General Manager at the Aloft in Abu Dhabi. He is the former General Manager for the Hotel Maria Cristina.

Marc Wozniak has been named General Manager for the Sheraton Adana Hotel in Turkey. He was most recently overseeing the Sheraton Gambia Hotel Resort & Spa.

Max Huftier is the new General Manager for the Sheraton Casablanca. He was most recently the General Manager for the Sheraton Oran Hotel, Seddikia. He is the former General Manager for Le Méridien Ile Maurice.

Bruno Le Gac has been named General Manager at the Constance Lemuria Resort Seychelles. He recently held the position of Resident Manager at the Constance Belle Mare Plage.

Mathieu de Tonnac has been named General Manager for the Le Méridien N'Fis in Marrakech. He is the former Hotel Manager for Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort.

Marriott International has named Philip Papadopoulos Country General Manager Jordan and General Manager at the Marriott Amman. He is the former pre-opening General Manager for the Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort and Spa and Director of Operations at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel.

John Hazard has been appointed General Manager at the Doha Marriott Hotel. He is the former General Manager for the London Marriott Grosvenor Square and the Bristol Royal Marriott.

Bernd Schneider has been appointed General Manager at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach. He was most recently with the Sofitel Mumbai as opening General Manager.

Christoph Ganster has been appointed General Manager at Raffles Praslin Seychelles. He was most recently the General Manager at the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv. He is the former General Manager of the Fairmont Towers Cairo and Hotel Manager at Raffles Dubai.

Peter Sawyer has been named General Manager and Lodge Manager at Singita Kruger National Park in South Africa. He is the former Operations Manager for the Onguma Game Reserve.

Bazil Roth has been appointed Lodge Manager at Singita Lebombo Lodge. He was most recently with Sanctuary Retreats in Botswana as Operations Manager.

Arun Kumar has been appointed Residence Manager at Al Bustan Center & Residences in Dubai. He was most recently the General Manager at Safeer Group of Hotels in Muscat.

Marcus Dudley has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Mövenpick Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Daniel van der Heijden has been appointed Deputy General Manager at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager at Le Méridien Amman, and is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Sheraton Jeddah.

The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town has promoted Jocelyn Myers-Adams to Executive Head Chef. Myers-Adams was most recently the Executive Chef Tournant under former Executive Chef Dallas Orr, who is now at the Maslow in Johannesburg.

Gilles Perrin has moved to Damac Properties in Dubai as Executive Chef . He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at Atlantis The Palm.

Jade Shany has been promoted to Director of Rooms and transferred to the Four Seasons Mauritius. The Cornell graduate was most recently the Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Paris George V.
